Robert and I have been acquainted for well over thirty Years, during which time we collaborated on a number of projects. Robert Jacques of Jacques Architecture has been working largely pro bono for over a year with staff of the King's Fellowship Chapel and me (a resident of Santa Rosa's Cherry Street Neighborhood Historic District in which the church is located) to design an aesthetically pleasing, affordable, structurally sound, and period appropriate renovation of the church annex facade, which was virtually destroyed by an arson fire in 2009. Jacques, ever professional and a pleasure to work with, has been extremely generous with his time, energy, and expertise, including interfacing with City planners to assure the best possible chance of this project 's successful completion. Attentive to clients' needs, desires and potential limitations, Jacques has drawn up top quality plans with beautiful and innovative solutions, reflecting a reassuring thoroughness, a high degree of architectural savvy, and a wonderful design sensibility.
