I cannot say enough amazing things about James. Our kitchen/backyard needed a major remodel and James guided us through the process every step of the way until the completion of the project. There is no way we could have survived through the entire process without James' help. He didn't just help with the design and development he helped coordinate the project with the contractor we selected. James even helped us select the right contractor for the project based on our feedback as well as his recommendations. James has a good eye for design but I appreciated how he listened to our opinions and what we liked and used it to create several designs so that we could eventually select one that we liked. I attached some renderings James made for us and pictures of how the project turned out. James is very kind and generous, a good listener, and very thoughtful and polite. I really appreciate his attention to detail as well as our project was very challenging in that it was an old house that required a lot of structural fixes before the remodel could be completed. James picked up on all the structural changes we needed to implement and worked it into the design as well. He helped with the permits, picking a contractor, recommending materials, etc. James is amazing and I would not hesitate to hire him again for another remodelling project!

Working with Mr. Vaccaro on this project has been a pleasure. Over the course of the project, a couple things stood out for me. He listened attentively and was very patient. He was a calming force and that is just his personality. Then when he started discussing design options it was obvious that he was simply a thorough and prepared professional. Without a doubt if I ever need to go down this rabbit hole again he will be the first one that I call.

I've worked with James professionally on projects for others for close to 15 years now. His design skills and attention to detail are so compelling that we retained him to help us with a comprehensive renovation of our two-unit building. James developed the plans for the exterior remodel consisting of new exterior surfaces; all new windows, doors, and skylights; a new roof; and a deck in the backyard. Once work on the exterior envelope of the building was finished, James developed the design for our interior renovations including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical upgrades; revising the floor plan in the kitchen/dining room; and selection of finish materials. From design and permitting to contractor selection, he guided us every step of the way. James is a talented architect and truly a pleasure to work with!
