Jessica has been a consummate professional and critical partner in our home remodel/addition project. In addition to providing all of the expertise and experience to meet the architectural requirements she is exceptional at: - Program management around the entire permit process - Thinking creatively to help realize our goals as economically as possible - Helping connect to other great professionals and resources in the County (Her recommendation helped us save $5K on a sewer lateral replacement) In addition she is exceptionally kind (even with repeated changes/ideas), responsive and excited/invested in our vision. She has continually shown us this is must more than a job to her and how passionate she is in her craft and helping us make our house into our home. We would not have been able to do our renovation/addition without Jessica. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

Jessica is a fantastic architect. It was so nice to deal with an independent professional who was able to work with our specific needs and wants. We came to her for our ADU/addition build and she took our project from a dream, to a design, and eventually reality. It was our first project of this magnitude and even though we did not know what we were doing, she gently guided us through every step to get to an ideal design. She held our hands every step of the way, even helping us navigate through our local city to get our plans certified in record time. Jessica Lehrbaum helped us plan the remodel our home. She made great improvements to our existing space and addition. Jessica was an absolute joy to work with and made the whole process so easy. We had no problem getting our plans for an ADU addition through the city, She submitted everything for us and was so open to the changes we had made through the process. She was conscious of our budget,keeping the sqft below the amount that would accumilate additional fees with the city. I honestly believe I could not have built my home without Jessica! She was a God-send from the get-go! She patiently listened to my ideas for the project, helped me set up a site on-line to organize them and then added suggestions of her own, She designed the home of my dreams and then redesigned it twice, because of Covid price increases, to be within my budget and still brilliantly maintained the aspects that were dear to me. She then helped me get bids from general contractors, got my plans through the county, obtained my permits and personally fought a few issues that would have financially prevented my building. She is now keeping a close eye on all the steps of construction, working with the generals and answering any questions that arise, while always keeping me in the loop. Jessica also works hand-in-hand with my interior designer answering questions regarding the inside elevations. I now understand when she told me, in the beginning, how important it was that there was a good connection and communication between all involved. She knew that I was coming in as a novice to building and has held my hand the whole way, while providing information for me to make the decisions. I am ecstatic that my home is finally taking shape. Hopefully, construction will be done by the end of the year! I will be forever grateful!

Jessica has been very thorough, patient, and professional with our project. She has taken care of so much when it comes to the city's planning and building departments. Not only did she do an excellent job on the design, making agreed upon changes as we brainstormed together to get the project where we wanted, but she also offered ways of keeping costs down and always clearly had our best interest in mind. Jessica Lehrbaum was referred to my husband and I by two separate design professionals for a potential remodel we planned to do on our retirement home. I am a retired Interior Designer, however, knowing our project would require an Architect and Engineer we wanted to work with someone who would truly embrace our ideas without pushing their own agenda. We hired Jessica last August, and when she came to our home to meet with us and see what the scope of work would be, we knew we had made the right choice. Jessica seemed very approachable and open to the ideas my husband and I shared for our retirement home that would transition into our full time residence upon my husband's retirement, scheduled for January 1, 2020. The home we had used for the past thirteen years as a second residence on weekends and vacations had seen one remodel ten years ago. However, it was time to plan an additional remodel to take place in two phases over the course of the next twelve months. Apparently the building department in the city we live in had a fire decades ago and the original plans from our home, built in 1984, had been destroyed. Jessica's first task was to draw up the existing floor plan of our home 'as built.' Once that was accomplished she continued with the plans for the remodel and addition. During the course of four months Jessica finished our plans, keeping us informed and up to date every step of the way. She had cautioned us early on in the process the building codes would be changing on January 1, 2020, and she worked meticulously to insure the plans were finished and submitted during December 2019, allowing us to move forward with permits before the new codes were in effect, which would have resulted in a larger scope of work on our project and greater cost to our retirement budget. Jessica has many assets we have found invaluable. She is an organized professional. She listened to our input, ideas and budget and suggested realistic, viable ways to accomplish our goals. She is not the least bit pushy or aggressive, yet she is self assured and moves forward with a quiet confidence. and determination to meet deadlines she laid out for us. She is realistic about budgets, timeframes, working with the city, and where potential pitfalls may be. We have definitely enjoyed working with Jessica and can recommend her with great confidence for any and all future projects.
