My husband and I wanted to build modern homes on a couple of lots we owned in Sandy, Utah. Being a conservative state means very few examples of modern home design. We feel fortunate to have found Julio who has an amazing range of design ideas. We met with Julio a few times to work on conceptual drawings. He would sketch out basic ideas in front of us, even drawing upside down to help us keep our perspective. Next came a multitude of options, twists and turns, depending on the input he received from us. Often, we'd scrap a whole set of ideas and go back to square one. Julio was always accommodating and encouraged us to explore new possibilities. Julio converted the conceptual drawings to hardlines and again we made a millions changes. He explored every new suggestion and gave us constructive ideas to move the project forward. Julio has helped us with exterior color and material questions and even contributed to our landscape design. Next, he made full house construction drawings and went to the job site several times during construction to coordinate with the supervisor. We have been extremely happy with Julio's designs and the end products. Plus he is so easy to work with and a really nice guy too. My husband and I would absolutely give him a 100% recommendation.

Julio was an unbelievable home designer. He literally took a few of our ideas and from scratch helped design the home of our dreams. We've been in our home for about a year and a half and still wouldn't change a thing.

We had a great experience with Julio. He is very organized and thorough in the planning phase. He was great at finding out the needs of the family and household. He made sure we thought about function first and how the house plan would meet the specific needs of our family and would make things flow smoothly. He had wonderful ideas and was very smart with the space. He was able to put everything that we needed into a smart and efficient plan. At the same time he made the space interesting and unique. He had very fun ideas of making the home beautiful and functional. He was very creative and we loved the ideas he had. He was also very conscientious of making sure the home was positioned and designed in a way to maximize solar gain, energy consumption etc. We would definitely recommend Julio to anyone. Not only was he excellent at his skill, he is a great guy and we thoroughly enjoyed working with him on every level.

We are currently working on a project with Julio, and he is awesome! Really nice guy, easy to talk to, and a very creative and quick thinker. Every time we meet with him he amazes us with his ability to make changes on the spot that make sense and flow well. He's very patient with our timing and schedules, and so far this project has been 100% stress free. We know that we're in good hands!

We had a daunting task ahead of us as we purchased an abandoned home on beautiful property that we wanted to renovate. After engaging Julio to design the renovation we knew we had made the right choice. He was so insightful, respectful and creative that the whole design and build process went off without a hitch. It was a major renovation that would have been so difficult without his professional guidance. He always met his deadlines, was mindful of budgets and worked easily with our contractors. In the end our home became even more than what we initially imagined...and we owe that in large part to Julio's professionalism. When it came time to add a separate casita onto our home for a family member, Julio provided just what we needed to build that addition. In short - we can recommend Julio without reservation.

Julio was amazing to work with. Any time we ran into an issue, Julio had the perfect idea to get the issue taken care of. His design of our house was beautiful and very functional as well. We love our open feel of our house and will use him if we ever build again.
