Jeff Fry, of JGF Design, Inc., has a professionalism that immediately put him at the top of our list when we were hunting for an architect to design our custom house. Jeff was the only person in the design/building industry who, on day one, had a prepared presentation of what he was able to do for us. Jeff worked with us, listened to our desires and heard our needs. He was then able to combine the bits and pieces into a unique design of our vision of our house. Jeff's knowledge of the building process exceeded our expectations. Jeff guided us through seamlessly. Jeff is Creative, Cost-Conscious, Competent, and Caring. By being a complete package, making it a collaborative effort, and paying attention to the details, Jeff Fry, of JGF Design, Inc., was everything we were looking for in a designer/builder. I was referred to JGF Design Studio when my wife and I observed a new home built in our area, that we thought was beautiful. The owner of the home we were looking at was nice enough to let us tour his home, and we were amazed with the home, and it even reflected some of the things we were thinking of for our new home. We asked the home owner who built his beautiful home and he told us his son Jeff Fry was owner of JGF Design and he was sure his son would be happy to help us. We contacted Mr. Fry and during our first meeting I found Mr. Fry to be very informative and straight forward, which is how I like to conduct business. During our design process we had some initial ideas of things we might want and Mr. Fry pointed out why some of our ideas wouldn't work, and we were very glad he did. As the building went on we could definite see where our novice ideas would not have worked, and why Mr. Fry is a home designer. Mr. Fry kept us in the loop during the entire home building, which we were very pleased with. Mr. Fry's expertise and attention to detail was observed numerous times during our building process, and was above reproach. We are definitely glad we decided to go with JGF Design and we would recommend Mr. Fry to anyone, including our friends, and I don't take referring someone to a friend lightly.

We are so thankful we found Jeff. I had a very specific vision for our home design and after wasting 2 months with a different designer that could not get the job done, we went to Jeff and he worked with us to make the house I was envisioning a reality. As we are acting as our own builder, he went above and beyond to answer questions and walk me through decisions a full time builder would have already known. He also was very conscious of our budget, which was greatly appreciated. Don't make the mistake we did by going to anyone else, just go to Jeff first, you will not be disappointed.

I am currently building a Texas hill country style house designed by Jeff of JGF Design Studio. This is my first project working with an architect and it has been an enjoyable experience. Since this is the first home of this style for us to build, it has required close communication with Jeff to ensure it is built as designed. Jeff has been timely in returning telephone calls and text messages. I have found Jeff to be very accessible and willing to explain how he envisions the construction to accomplish his design goals while at the same time listening to different ways of accomplishing his objective. I strongly recommend Jeff as an architect that designs beautiful homes and one that understands how to work with a home builder.

If you are looking for an architect, stop looking and hire Jeff. He's been doing this for decades, and we've learned firsthand how much that experience matters. He cares about design, and works tirelessly to make sure he gets every detail right. Then he works directly with your builder to make sure the design is being built as specified and for the price agreed. Consider him the mastermind behind the whole project, making sure your home is truly custom designed to your needs and then making sure the rest of the team builds it like you wanted. He even has his own radio show focused on the importance of good home design. We were looking for this kind of experience and can't recommend Jeff enough. Our parents are now designing a home with him, and they referred another family that also hired him. He's that good!

Commented: Did you lighten "Riverway"? Seems much lighter than other photos.Thank you for your question. I do not believe our painter lightened the paint color. My guess is that the lighting used for the photo is brightening up the room.
