Residential / Commercial Architect About JLB Design, LLC: Design Approach: I work on residential, commercial and retail projects of all shapes, sizes and budgets. I have a hands-on, collaborative approach to design. I value client input and enjoy working together with property owners to arrive at design ideas that serve their environmental, cultural, spatial and budgetary needs while paying specific attention to existing conditions such as the building's design, physical and structural layout and those all-important views. I truly believe that everyone should have the ability to work with an architect and so, from schematic design and design development all the way through to construction, I try to create a feeling of client empowerment where communication is always open and immediate. It is my deep belief that good architecture and a successful project comes from a truly open relationship between client, architect and the contractor. Licensing: I am an NCARB registered architect (NJ & NY) and a member of the American Institute of Architects, a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design - Accredited Professional) and a proud supporter of the Institute for Classical Architecture & Art.
