We have had the pleasure of working with Joe on 3 projects, the first being an addition in 1998 and, most recently, a full renovation of our new residence in 2013. Each time we have been impressed by his ability to integrate our needs, wants and budget with his impeccable sense of design and concept of space. His architectural "eye" and his desire to "get it right" made each project fun and interesting to work on and the end products were truly works of art. We just completed a renovation of our lake house with Joe Matto and the results have exceeded our dreams. The renovation included two extensions, the first allowing for a completely new kitchen, master bedroom, master bath and closet makeover and the second allowing for reconfiguration of the family room, office, kitchenette and stone terrace on the lower level. Together with his recommended contractor, they have transformed a cape house on a lake to a stunning home with spectacular views. Not only did his architectural designs incorporate all the features we asked for, but his talented aesthetic eye and impeccable attention to design details brought room after room to a whole new level---elevating the views, flow and functionality of the house. Everything that has been said about Joe is true: he is thoughtful, reliable, dependable and delightful to work with. We feel honored to have had him as our architect!

We worked with Joe Matto to design and then build our 4,700 square foot coastal home. It was a wonderful experience in every respect. I loaded Joe down with ideas and pictures and he executed my hopes flawlessly. He has an eye for balance and light. Our house is light, airy, and functions really well for a busy family. Mr.Matto designed and supervised a major remodel of our rather unattractive raised ranch, transforming it into a stunning home with soaring ceilings, bathed in natural light. Mr. Matto also recommended the contractor whom he had worked with previously. Their ability to cooperate and coordinate the project was the foundation for an exceptionally smooth and pleasant work environment.
