Keith was a blessing to me! Going in to this process on my own, having lost my husband several months before, I really only knew that I wanted to build. I had a few ideas, but really turned to Keith for advice and suggestions. His professional and polite manner made me feel so at ease. He presents you with a very good layout of how his process works, so there are no surprises along the way. The communication was top notch. I love the beautiful home that he designed for me. I would 100% recommend Keith, not only for his professionalism, and expertise, but also for the kind and caring person that he is.

TOP OF HIS CLASS ! Keith's attentive listening skills are of the greatest importance. It enables him to understand his clients needs and desires. My first project with Keith might have surprised him because my white hair gave away my age. What woman eighty two wants to build a house on a lot she owns. He didn't roll his eyes, instead listened with interest. I wanted large windows for natural lighting, vaulted ceilings, open living space on the main floor with angled walls where possible. He drew a very desirable plan that visitors continue to remark on the creative plan. Keith fulfilled my desires and incorporated views I hadn't even mentioned. My second project was more of a challenge. Adding a four season porch to a cabin built in 1965. After making visits to the site Keith undertook the challenge. I learned remodels are often times more time consuming because of the unknowns. Through the build Keith kept reassuring me it would work. All would be okay. So glad my faith never wavered in his drawing talent and his willingness to stay in close contact with my contractor. I have recommended Keith to others and will continue to do so because I know his gift for drawing and people skills. Client satisfaction is important to him. He cares.

We love our new home and are so glad that we picked Keith Friesen to design it. We came to Keith with a long list of needs and wishes for our new house. Keith took that list, incorporated not only our needs but also our wishes! The result is a warm, welcoming house that has felt like a home from the first day we moved in. Our home is built to be accessible and a safe place for us to live in as we age and as our abilities change. Keith brought innovative and practical ideas to our planning sessions. Keith communicated well and met expectations and deadlines. There were no surprising extra charges and he was able to supply everything our contractors needed to bid and build the project.

Keith was very professional and wonderful to work with. This was a new build project. We had an idea of what we wanted and Keith took it from there. He had alot of really good ideas on different areas. He was very up front with the whole process about what we should expect from him and what he expected of us. I would definitely work with Keith again and would absolutely recommend him to others.

After finishing this outside remodel project with Keith and having such a good experience, we are moving forward with another project. Keith is very much a professional at his trade and was very helpful navigating us through the design process. He was clear in his communications and kept to his promised timelines. However, considering we came to him with the basic outline of the house in hand, we thought he was quite slow to deliver the finished design. We also made it clear from the beginning that we needed to keep costs in check and he offered few alternatives to help us with that. We made changes on our own to save money. Overall we had a good experience.

We were directed to Keith in 2021 by the builder for a new home in a new town. We were so excited to hear Keith’s name as we had worked with him 15 years prior in a different location and had fond memories of that experience. Our goal this time was to downsize to a house we could spend our retirement years in. We didn’t want to go full out handicapped accessible, but to incorporate accessibility where it made sense. We shared this along with our target size and budget goals, and Keith kept us on track. At the same time he listened, was open to our ideas, and provided valuable suggestions and feedback. Together we designed an awesome home that should serve us for many years. We are very happy with the results and the process.

Keith drafted the plans for our new home and we are very happy with the results. Using our initial ideas and drawings, he came up with plans that adhered to code requirements and HOA rules. He also made very helpful suggestions along the way that improved the design and helped keep the price of our home within budget. Of course we came up with a few changes along the way and Keith was very accomodating. The builder told us that the plans were much more detailed than what they were used to getting and that they did not have to go back to Keith for any clarification. The cost of the design was exactly as quoted and the entire process took a little over 5 months from when we initially contacted Keith to when we had the plans in hand. We highly recommend Keith for your project.
