John K. Kelly has worked as a structural engineer since graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Structural Engineering from the University of California at San Diego. During the first 15 years of his diverse career, he designed and engineered many projects including schools and hospitals, commercial projects, industrial projects, large residential subdivisions, and custom homes. As his career matured, John's focus in the residential and low-rise commercial marketplace yielded the successful completion of numerous office buildings, retail projects, medical buildings, and restaurants. While a Director with a mid-sized southern California firm, he managed and oversaw the development of many projects for the nation's top builders such as KB Homes, Kaufman and Broad Multi-Family, Centex Homes, Greystone Homes, and Pardee Homes. As a leader in this top, fast growing firm, and as a resident of the dynamic, growth driven, Las Vegas market, John was compelled to open his own company in the spring of 2001. John's commitment to quality, service, value engineering, and his attention to detail garnered top clients for The Kelly Design Group such as Beazer Homes, DR Horton Homes, Richmond American Homes, and Toll Brothers. We've also designed a number of commercial projects and national restaurant chains such as Yum! Brands Inc. John continues to strive for cost effective, practical, building solutions to meet and exceed the expectations of today's homebuyers and developers.
