would not call it any kind of meaningful "relationship"
$1,000 - $9,999
I met with Kelly Kirk three or four times at my home for the renovation of my older mid-town home. We discussed in detail what was needed. I gave him a check for $3000.00 dollars ( which I have processed proof) for which I received ONE page of a drawing three months later, with no elevations or meaningful construction information. I called to tell him that I was unhappy and asked "would you be happy with a one page useless drawing for $3000.00 dollars?" to which he answered "No." I then said "then give me $3000.00 dollars worth of drawings, what ever that would look like to you and be fair and let us part company. I got nothing! He said he didn't want an unsatisfied customer that might, well, leave such information on a review. Which I feel certain will mysteriously disappear. When a company I worked with attempted to use what little I had as a start point, he reported to them that the page of drawing was his property and they were not allowed to use it. I then got an attorney, Dan Taylor, to offer to take the matter to law, after which he released the unusable drawing for which I had paid. These are facts as they happened, I have made no judgments or accusations regarding anything else. You decide if this is what you would like to have happen to you. I had no contract, just a hand shake as I thought I was dealing with a professional. My mistake. Stephen Gipson, M.D., 517 Goodwyn St.

Kelly is a true perfectionist in his design services. He is always looking at the project in a holistic manner that out of the realm of his clients. We learned early on that we need to trust his opinion and judgment because he is constantly keeping everything in check- our design requirements, the budget, and the vision of the project itself. Sometimes he will push you in a direction you may be unsure of and doubt it, but the end result was outstanding! He is not your guy if you want something quick and dirty! He is quality and patience.
