We had an excellent experience with KC. KC provided designs he had done previously which together we modified to our desires and needs. The end result was a cost effective design. KC has an excellent reputation with the ARC in Seabrook Island POA and we believe this helped considerably to smooth the way through the approval process. We liked that the process with KC was iterative - with time to consider and think and then make changes. He listened to what we wanted but also provided suggestions and expert advice if he thought we were getting off track.

KC did a great job getting our custom design on paper match our vision and wish-list; in dealing with the architectural review committee; and in getting us over the finish line and approved. He was always very responsive to our communications, which is of utmost importance when designing your forever home. KC was an advocate in making sure our dream house and investment matched our wishes, but still met the guidelines in the community we look forward to calling home!

I cannot recommend Kenneth Miller Architecture highly enough! K.C. is a dedicated and knowledgeable professional who operates at the highest level. Our project was a detailed and complex renovation of a 19th Century building in downtown Charleston. This was not a simple project and K.C. was able to complete all aspects of his work in a timely and thorough manner, including interfacing with multiple other professionals on the job and navigating the approval process with the relevant city departments. His communication and response time is top notch. All jobs contain unexpected surprises and K.C. was highly creative in finding solutions to any issues that arose. He always maintained a positive attitude and viewed challenges as opportunities to be solved rather than problems. His work quality is excellent and he was able to meet deadlines and stay on budget. KC is my go-to architect. As a local home builder and GC, a lot of my customers aren’t 100% sure on plans, layouts, etc, and its our job as builders and architects to bring the customers vision to life. Kenneth Miller designed a multi level deck and balcony project for an 80 year old home in Charleston. The deck included a cook center, seating area, recess for a spa, and an outdoor shower. The balcony come off a second story bedroom, and had stairs descending to the deck, and a storage room under the balcony. Multi functional and well executed design.

We had Kenneth Miller design our addition (master bedroom and bathroom) and he was fantastic!! Not only was he professional and extremely knowledgeable he was personable, kind and went well above and beyond to make sure we were happy. On our first meeting he rolled up his sleeves and crawled around our attic (which is not a nice place I should add), looked at the construction of our house for load baring walls etc. and within a very short amount of time he came to us with some fantastic plans and ideas that made our dream space come true, and in our budget. We highly recommend Kenneth and frankly wouldn't consider working with anyone else!!! He's that good!
