AMAZING group of women over at LRA! I do the photographs of all the finished interiors, and each and every home is so beautifully designed, it could only be the work of Lauren and her team! Their rooms are all so carefully curated; each space a vignette of minimal design with maximum functionality and pleasing aesthetic. Every room is thoughtfully designed, so that you feel a sense of balance and completeness throughout the whole space. Their sincere and caring attitude combined with their fine-tuned attention to detail, sets this group apart to work with. Each member eager to help and perfect the work. LRA did a fantastic job with my apartment. This ended up being a very big job, with various twists and turns dealing with the usual assortment of building issues and hidden surprises that always seem to happen when renovating apartments in NYC. Lauren and the team were very responsive and came up with great ideas and more importantly listened and adjusted accordingly each time. They were able to transform a tired apartment into a true modern living space that feels like a real home.

Lauren, Kate and the entire LRA team are truly fantastic! We worked with them on a gut renovation of a Manhattan co-op and they were impressive throughout the entire process, from initial walk-through to finished product. Lauren is highly knowledgable on the ins and outs of renovating in NYC, and she is immensely talented. She is warm yet professional, and always organized and responsive. We were thrilled with the way the team handled our input - we were extremely hands on with every detail, and had very specific tastes. LRA are wonderful listeners and remained open and encouraging of our thoughts and ideas throughout the renovation. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

Our project included complete renovation of bathroom and kitchen, removal of walls, refinishing floors, replacing doors and radiator covers/storage. Working with Lauren Rubin Architecture has been a superb experience. LRA has an impeccable eye for design and knows where to source the most interesting and unique materials. Expectations were discussed at regular intervals, drawings updated and pricing parameters and budgetary concerns were a realistic part of the redesign process. Upon beginning our NYC apartment redesign project I had mentioned that I was very interested in mixing of interesting textures. The wallpapers, fabrics and paint samples that were presented for us to choose from were really fantastic. We are very satisfied with the end result. In addition, the majority of the materials we used for our redesign are eco-friendly: Paints, bamboo built ins, and 3-Form Eco Resin panels. Lauren is involved in every step of the process from front end spec to completion and her relationships with both vendors and contractors demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and respect across the board.

Lauren Rubin of Lauren Rubin Architecture designed the combination of our apartment and a portion of the apartment next door to us. Not only did she combine the two (apartments) seamlessly but made the entire experience effortless for us. Her sense of design, balance and her attention to detail are wonderful. Among other things, she transformed a former kitchen into a comfy family room. Lauren stayed on top of the project and never let anything "slip" by her. Her calm demeanor certainly helps everything run smoothly and if you need hand holding while picking out tile, flooring, hardware, paint colors or anything else, she's there. We enjoyed every minute working with Lauren...she's truly the nicest and most competent person you'll ever find!
