Liz Murray Interior Space Planning and Design

What separates Liz from the rest of interior designers and space planners in Portland? She is renowned for her attention to detail, product knowledge, and her ability to supply skillfully prepared working drawings. She treats clients like royalty, listening carefully to their desires and executing on the details of their dream. She feels it is essential to understand her clients needs, and her designs always reflect their personalities and lifestyles. Liz graduated from Harrington Institute of Interior Design – Chicago with a degree in Applied Science of Interior Design and Space Planning. While in college she worked for International Kitchen and Bath Design (IKBD), utilizing her design and sales skills. After graduating, she continued working as a designer through two prominent showrooms in the Chicago Area for 7 years. After moving West, Liz joined the team at Chown Showcase in Portland, working as their staff designer. During her 6 exciting years at Chown she had the opportunity to design both the Chown Portland and the Chown Bellevue showrooms as well as numerous other commercial and residential projects. Liz has been working as a designer for over 32 years and is a long-standing member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association. In 2002, Liz established her own firm designing both residential interiors, exteriors and commercial spaces, affording her the chance to be involved in and fulfill her love of a wide-range of design styles. Liz is also valued as a consultant to large plumbing fixture companies regarding product design and design trends in the industry.
