Leonard is OUTSTANDING! I worked with another architect for six months and then interviewed a list of top firms in SF/Bay before finding LNAI. Leonard is hard working, dedicated, super well trained (take a closer look at his experience) and truly understands his clients and put their interests first. He is also accountable on execution and delivered the documents within the timeline. Building a house can be stressful and most of us have no prior experience. Partnering with the right people can make it so much easier! We feel incredibly fortunate to work with Leonard and have him take the lead on this project...

LNAI completed a gut renovation of our two story apartment five years ago. The apartment had some issues with a lack of adequate light in some areas and awkward spatial organizations resulting from the building's curvaceous exterior walls. Leonard came up with an elegant solution which would bring more light into the apartment as well as create a much clearer spatial definition. This has completely changed the character of the apartment. It now has better light throughout and with the resulting spatial reorganization we feel as if we've gained a few hundred usable extra square feet. Furthermore, various details such as the recessed floor base is understated, beautiful yet functional and fuss free. Throughout the process of design, city approval, contractor selection, and construction Leonard guided us with a steady, even hand. He brought the project to full completion, and helped us ensure that our contractor remained with the job until it was 100% done to his specification. Leonard kept our building manager consistently in the discussion, which allowed us to navigate a noisy and invasive construction process smoothly. Leonard is very detail oriented and an absolute pleasure to work with. We would highly recommend LNAI to any prospective clients.

We hired Leonard to help us with a significant remodel of our home in Hillsborough. The project required us to rebuild a portion of our home and retrofitting it to an existing structure. Throughout this project, Leonard has been leading all aspects of the work. He brings a thoughtful, experienced, and calm approach on how to navigate through all of the complexities -- from town approval through engaging various subs to assist with landscape design etc. We are very happy with the plans for our home and would highly recommend Leonard!

We hired Leonard to design a massive renovation of our home - effectively completely redoing the inside, including redesign of floor plan, new kitchen, bathrooms, floor, lighting, and more. We couldn't be more satisfied! Leonard was able to capture our intent and goals, and translate to a beautiful design that balances beautifully modern themes with warmth and connection to nature. Leonard was able to create a friendly and highly productive working relations with with us and with the General Contractor (also highly recommended) to make the entire experience a pleasure.
