Locati Architects

We worked with Locati Architects and Design from start to finish on a significant, top to bottom, home remodel on Lake Couer d'Alene in Northern Idaho which was completed in 2011. The Locati team helped us transform a random and poorly designed & constructed 8000 SqFt "Northwest Contemporary" to an absolutely phenomenal 11,000 SqFt world class "rustic elegance" show piece. The project was extremely challenging and we had not done proper due diligence in selecting a contractor. Locati Architects went above and beyond in every way imaginable to make the project a phenomenal success. Our home is as gorgeous as any Locati home and every single member of the Locati Architecture & Design Team were top notch professionals in knowledge, demeanor and a shared desire to make our home as amazing as possible-in lieu of challenges that could easily sabotage most construction projects-especially one of this caliber. We cannot thank Locati Architects enough for their high levels of professionalism. No one could set the standard of excellence higher than they do. Every interaction from Amanda in design to Dave & Boone in project management and Kyle as lead architect went above and beyond our already high expectations in every way. Building a home can be extremely stressful and our poor choice of a contractor tested us in every way. Locati Architects exemplified maximum patience while maintaining hope and focus to bring an incredible project through the finish line. In our experience and opinion, the only thing superior to the world class Locati home designs are their people. After dealing with them on such a significant undertaking, I can hardly imagine finding another architect that would offer that down home Montana warmth with the highest levels of commitment and drive for excellence and perfection. I have admired the homes that Locati has posted on Houzz over and over again. It has been amazing how many times I see their name when I ask for additional information. I had some specific questions and received very prompt, thorough answers to my inquiries each time. Even though they knew I probably wouldn't use their services in Texas, since they are in Montana, they took the time and effort to help me with my building inquiries. Their work is obviously excellent, and I beieve their professional courtesy is at the highest levels.

Currently working with Sophia Cok, ASID at Locati Interiors. I'm thrilled with her work and creative talent. We get compliments any time someone walks into our home. Locati Interiors has been a pleasure to deal with on an administrative level. The system they have for client billing is transparent and extremely easy to understand. We couldn't be happier.

I was the interior designer on this project and worked closely with their project managers and the client. I did most of the work long distance, via the internet, so good communication was essential. Their staff was excellent and the quality of construction exceeded expectations. The resulting project was published in the Big Sky Journal and won an ASID Award (MN chapter). Jerry Locati's style is mainly Western/Rustic, but I'm sure his talents go beyond that and his capabilities are broad. I would recommend them with the highest possible ratings!
