Cameron brings strong design and a thorough understanding of construction techniques to his work. The plans were very well done and we sailed through permitting. He was available to meet and answer questions the builders had in a timely fashion. Maltby Design is a pleasure to work with.

We hired Cam through a referral from our builder when we decided to renovate the exterior of our home. The project was largely cosmetic in nature - new windows, new siding and some minor alterations to a small roofline. Cam developed a couple of ideas for us and we proceeded with one immediately because it captured the new look we were hoping to achieve. We didn't need to meet with him often - he was quick with minor changes and listened well to our ideas. Cam's direct experience was very helpful when it came to choosing paint colours and stains. This is what we wanted - someone who could help quickly narrow down the broad range of options. We enjoyed working with Cam - he kept us well informed of timing and costs for his services so there were no surprises. He accommodated our schedules for meetings. We would happily recommend Cam to other clients.

Over the past several years I have enjoyed the opportunity of working with Cameron Maltby of Maltby Design on various design projects. Cameron was the design professional on a recent townhouse remodelling project of which I was general contractor. He provided me with a full set of permit drawings and was engaged throughout the project to oversee construction. I found his drawings and details to be concise, accurate and thorough; and his design to be aesthetically pleasing. He was readily available for consultation, providing quick and correct answers to problems on numerous occasions, while also listening and responding to the needs of the client. Cameron came highly recommended and we are really happy with his work.
