I was representing a seller of a Woodside home, small home, small lot for Woodside - 'non-confirming' - 'sub standard' are some of the words I think the town used...(not exactly confidence inspiring) Anyway, Peter explained most properties in Woodside are designated non-conforming and it is not language a buyer should get hung-up on. Prior to meeting Peter, I sent many interested buyers to the town building department and my sellers and I were getting frustrated that most of these potential buyers were coming away confused and uncertain and choosing to walk away.. Peter stepped in and created an evaluation of what can be done with the property, (he put it in human-speak) which was a huge help in terms of giving buyers confidence of what kind of home and scope of improvements could realistically and legally be applied to the parcel. (Relief). I found Peter knowledgeable about the Woodside planning process, responsive and easy to work with, and he was able to help us have a successful outcome in selling my clients home, due to his understanding what the planning process in Woodside might allow but as important if not more so, his ability to communicate this to buyers effectively. One of my Realtor colleagues who lives in Woodside suggested I call Peter. I am so glad I did!
