Mary is an amazing designer/architect. My wife and I got to know her in her capacity of being the designer of the house we bought in old Palo Alto. We very much like her design style, artistic vision, and simplistic approach, so we hired her for our newly purchased apartment in San Francisco. Mary has done a fantastic job --- she is personal, attentative and approachable. In the meantime, Mary is also creative, responsible and responsive. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with her and will recommend Mary to anyone without any hesitation.

We have worked with Mary Maydan on the design of an extensive remodel of our house in San Francisco, and as we now moved to Palo Alto, we plan to hire her to design a new house for us in Palo Alto. Mary’s designs are beautiful and functional, which was a big advantage to us as a family with two small kids. Mary was very attentive to our needs, and easy to work with. Even though our project was small compared to some of her other projects, she was always available to us. We could reach her anytime, including evenings and weekends and she truly cared about us and our project. She shared with us her wealth of knowledge and resources, helping us with the selections of materials, fixtures and accessories and forwarding her trade discounts to us which helped us build our dream house and stay within our budget. We hired Mary for a deep remodeling project for our house in Atherton CA, growing the house from 3500 sqf to 5000 sqf. When we met her for the first time, we had immediately a vey good fit. We really wanted a modern and clean design, and we loved very much all Mary's previous projects that she walked us through. From for the very beginning, Mary really tried to understand exactly our style, our requirements, and the way we want to live in the house. After a few weeks, she came back to us with a stunning sketch up of our future house, with great ideas that we hadn't even thought about. During the whole process, Mary has been very easy and nice to work with, not counting her hours to get to the right level of details. The submittal process to the City has been very smooth and entirely managed by her. During the construction phase, Mary attended all the key meetings with our contractor, making sure that the detailed plans were clearly understood for a perfect execution. Having worked for a year with Mary, we are really convinced to have made the right choice of architect and would highly recommend her to anyone liking modern and clean design.

Mary Maydan's work is simply beautiful. With limited space and unlimited ideas, Mary magically included every item on our wish list. She is knowledgeable and savvy with the permitting process, is on very good professional terms with city planners, and she remained helpful and involved with each step of the design review to ensure a smooth and speedy outcome. We hired Mary for architectural service and interior design to our house remodel (addition of new living/family room, kitchen and remodel of existing rooms) as we like her contemporary style and that was our best decision for the project. Mary helped us in all phases of the remodeling (design, contractor bidding, construction observation, suppliers selection) and always made sure we got the best deals in supplies purchases. We consulted her for every single decision we made for the project. Mary always addressed any issues we got during the project very timely and effectively. We felt lucky that we have her as our architect and are very happy with the result she delivered. We and our kids for sure will enjoy the house for more years to come.

I hired Mary to do a complete overhaul of a 2,000 square foot retail and exercise studio space at Town and Country Shopping Center in Palo Alto. Mary completed the project on time (in 10 weeks!) and on budget and her attention to detail was extraordinary. She was on-site every day of the construction, overseeing every little detail to make sure it was all perfect.
