I was connected with Jerry Balletti, an architect with meld studio while researching an addition to our canal front home. We purchased for the location, not the house so we quickly outgrew it when the kids came along. We loved the location and the neighborhood, so we decided increase the square footage. Our budget was limited and we knew the space we needed. What we did not know was how to pull it off both with the finances and layout/design. Jerry came in and did a very good job on first listening to our needs and then second finding out what we had for a budget. He discussed some design options, took some measurements and then went off to work his magic. His initial design represented what we were after minus a few changes. With these plans, I took them and started to get quotes from all of the trades needed, I was playing the contractor. We soon realized that we needed to pull off the 2nd story Family room as we were not getting enough bang for buck. Jerry was very accommodating to these changes and tweaks along the way. With the new design minus the 2nd story addition, we were concerned with the new roof line so Jerry went the extra mile and created a 3D rendering of the house so that we could virtually walk around it. This sold us on his design. During our construction, a neighbor walked up and asked for our architects name as he wasn't necessarily happy with his existing plans. He decided to go with Jerry. I would highly recommend Jerry and company for your project, big or small. He helps you achieve your design and to stay within budget. Jerry also had the rolodex of subs that I needed and was knowledgeable in getting us through the 'fun' permitting process.

When my Wife and I were looking to build our DREAM home, we knew that Angelina was the right fit for our West Indies design. What we didn't know was if we could afford her! Not only did we get a fee that was in our budget, but we got more than we expected in our plans. From the beginning we met with Angelina and her team, and they "GOT" us and our style. We met several times to get the layout right and the exterior facade came next. What was most important to us was taking in the views from every room to be able to see the Indian River from everywhere in the house. Its very rare that you get everything right from the design concept to the reality of Construction. Everything worked so perfect that our team on site had very little questions for Angelina throughout the process. And the best part was that the plans were so detailed and worked so well, that we had a schedule of 14 months build time and finished our project in 10 months from start to finish. Erin and I couldn't be happier....from the electrical layout, to the trim details, to the cabinet layouts, to the finishes, everything about our home is exactly what we wanted. This team of professionals at melD Studio is a "12" on a 1-10 scale, and we couldn't be more pleased with our relationship with them and the product we received. HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a Quality Design!

Jeff Anderson and MelD recently designed a pergola for our backyard. It is amazing. We have thoroughly enjoyed it. It is extremely well designed and recently had to withstand the effects of Hurricane Matthew. It came thru without any damage I would highly recommend Jeff and MelD for your next project.

In early 2015, my husband and I bought his childhood home which was in an ideal location on the water on Merritt Island but had been neglected for ten years or more. The decision was made to demolish it to start over & rebuild on the site. I had my own ideas for what we wanted and was referred to MelD Studio by our contractor. We felt an immediate connection at our first meeting. I worked closely with Jerry Balletti to design a new home that utilized every bit of available space on the small lot. The size of the lot along with the county restrictions presented a real challenge. Jerry was very good at listening to my vision for our home. He had excellent ideas and worked diligently to give us what we wanted in the design. We came up with a plan and met several times over the course of a couple months, discussing every detail until we got it "right." Jerry really felt like a friend during the process. It was a comfortable experience. He totally understood where I was going with the ideas that I presented, and did his best to accommodate my vision. My experience couldn't have been any better. We moved in to our new home in July, 2016, and love everything about it!! We highly recommend Jerry Balletti and the team at MelD!!
