I have had the pleasure of knowing David Brown of Mesh for over 15 years. Throughout the past 15 years, David has continued to deliver designs that have blown me away. Recently, I hired MESH to design, and assist me with entitling a 4th dwelling unit of a current 3 unit property in San Francisco. The building is on a historical site, within a legal, non-conforming structure. Mesh’s knowledge of both San Francisco, and Uniform Building Codes, paved the daunting road toward approvals of this 4th dwelling unit. This was a monumental accomplishment which I am ecstatic about. David and Staffan are such a pleasure to work with, and I recommend MESH with high praise.

My experience working with Mesh was terrific. They were very professional throughout the long process of design and build. David and Staffan were good listeners, as they took into consideration our priorities, needs and budgetary restraints all while challenging our limited ideas of the project's scope. Our project has been received enthusiastically by the community, mainly for how the architecture has seamlessly fit in. Kudos to Mesh!

We originally found Staffan on houzz and feel so fortunate that we did. We live in an eichler-esque house and he helped us modernize it. He designed a new cedar fence, new entry (inspired by James Turrell's sky windows), new house siding (helping us choose literally from 50 shades of grey), new roof and lots of smaller things inside. We get compliments on the unique fence he designed on a weekly basis. A few things that were great about our experience with Staffan: - He listens to what you're looking to accomplish and then comes up with really creative approaches to solving problems - He worked with our town to get our permits and made modifications quickly to designs - He helped us choose contractors to carry out the work (interviews, reference checks etc) He is a delight to work with. Highly highly recommended!

I worked together with Staffan Svenson (Dencity) on couple of projects - designing the kitchen cabinets. I was very pleased and impressed with the creativity of his designs always pushing the limits borderline to impossible.

We used Dencity for a very complex house project in Atlanta and they "knocked it out of the park". Staffan Svenson (the principle whom we worked with) has a true creative vision which he is able to translate into strong plans that translate into beautiful projects. The process Dencity uses is a truly collaborative one in which the client is closely involved in all major design decisions. I suggest you go onto their website and look at some of their work (our house is the red one near the bottom). A few other things; We also used Dencity for CA (construction administration) and it was one of the best decisions we made on the project. And finally, we have just begun a new project with them and after seeing the initial renderings I can't wait to get going on it.

I have know the team at Dencity now for over a year and they are in my opinion the best Modern Architects in the south and one of the best in the country. The are incredibly talented and have such a vision for the direction of the built environment. They have a great reputation in the industry from both the client side and the builders side. They are innovative in the way they think and always come at things from a problem solving perspective. They always put their clients interests and lifestyle first to create the perfect home and it shows in the level of work they do and the how happy their clients always are with their new home. We have the pleasure to be working with Dencity on a new modern home and they are wonderful to work with and very professional and personable on every level. I am honored and excited to be working with such a talented team that has such an amazing work ethic and I look forward to working with them on several other projects in the near future. My husband and I worked with Staffan Svenson of Dencity and I will say I am just in love with how easy he was to work with on our project. We were so pleased with our home and I would not have done anything different. Staffan is such a talented architect and we worked so well together. We told him all the things that were important to us in a home and he designed exactly what we described. I was the designer on the home and had no interior designing experience, so needless to say I always had questions about certain things and Staffan was always there to help me. We worked together for 2 1/2 years and created a masterpiece. I would highly recommend this architectural firm for anyone looking to build a modern home. I give them two thumbs up!!!!
