Matthew was our architect in designing our new house from scratch on a new near Lake Georgetown. Our process started with some simple drawing where we captures our ideas. Matthew was extremely effective at listening to understand what was important for us and providing feedback and inputs to make everything come together. He was instrumental in finding the right balance between what we wanted and what could be built. He helped us position the house on our lot to optimize the available space, preserving the existing trees and setting the stage to design a home with a great curbside appeal. We enjoyed the overall design process and we extremely pleased with the final outcome, now that we have lived here for a few months. We highly recommend Matthew for both hill country or more modern home styles.

We had a several ideas regarding the components for our new house, but no idea how to formulate a plan. Matt Manuel patiently listened to us and considered all of our requests. We used Matt to design a custom home for us. My wife and I had viewed hundreds of floor plans online and not found exactly what we wanted. We weren't even sure if it was possible to get everything we wanted into the square footage we were trying to achieve. We met with Matt and told him what we liked about our current home, what we didn't like, and how we utilized our space, along with some of the features and esthetics we wanted in our new home. We were shocked when the initial design came back. Matt nailed it! The design was near perfect, and so efficient. There was no wasted space, and had everything we wanted. Matt even thought of some things we hadn't which made the plan even better. Matt was very easy to work with, and extremely responsive as we made some minor tweaks along the way to get the plans exactly where we wanted. Working with Matthew to design our custom home was a pleasure from the beginning to the end. His website and detailed customer questionnaire was very clear and informative of his design process. We are very pleased with his attention to detail and ability to clearly convey into a design what we wanted in our home. He was very attentive and thoroughly listened to what we were saying. All of the builders that we've interviewed for building our home were very impressed with the design and the details. I couldn't recommend Matthew enough. He's just a super great guy and a pleasure to work with.

As a first time homebuilder, Matt was so incredibly patient with me, thoroughly explained the process, offered up his professional opinion regularly and was impressively creative. This. Man. Listens. I was completely blown away that with just a bit of information from his well delivered process plan and discovery work, Matt really interpreted what my family needs were, as well as what we were hoping for, and hit it out of the park. He contributed so many well thought out design suggestions that met form and function flawlessly. 100 stars.

We are super excited to receive our final construction plans from Matthew at MFM Design Group. When we first hired Matthew we had an entirely different lot in mind, and we did a full 180! Matthew was able to assist us through all of our changes and pivot to a different lot. We thought we knew exactly what we wanted but as you get into the process, you realize you don't know as much as you thought. He was able to help us through all of the big decisions and we were able to hone in on our desires and he was able to put them into a beautiful home design for us. We are very happy with the final product. We look forward to starting construction. We are glad that we chose the MFM Design Group for our custom home project and highly recommend him.

This guy is amazing! He actually listens and does not try to bring his own ego into the project. Reasonably priced with incredible attention to detail. I really appreciate Matts ability to hear what the client is asking for and produce it. Listening is a big value for our company and Matt at MFM design gets our vote!!
