We hired Mitchell Wilk Architecture to renovate and reconfigure our 100 year old home for a busy family of 5. Doug and his team made sure they understood how we lived in our house before even taking pen to paper. Our project is still taking shape but our vision is emerging and is more than we could have hoped for. Doug maintained the character of our historic home (something that was very important to us) while updating it to our lifestyle in creative ways. The entire team is wonderful and has very responsive to our inquiries. I would highly recommend Mitchell Wilk.

My wife and I interviewed approx. 6 firms prior to building our custom home in Rye NY. Doug Wilk was the only architect that asked us a very simple question "what do YOU want in a house and how do YOU use your current home?". After answering these very simple questions Doug and his team designed and executed one of the most amazing homes i have ever been in. I am using Doug Wilk and his architecture company for my gut renovation of a colonial Long Island home. I found him online on the architectural website. I picked him after interviewing three prospective architects. I am very happy working with him and his team. We have been working over two years together on architectural plans, approval process by village and supervising my whole construction project. We are hoping to finish this project beginning of 2018.

I tell everyone that second best decision I have ever made in my life (marrying my husband being first), was to hire Mitchell Wilk Architecture to design and oversee the renovation of our new home in Harrison. They delivered what they promised, a beautiful modern home that, while respecting the character and history of the home and it's neighborhood, would cater to the many needs of our family. They worked tirelessly to make sure every tiny little detail was just right. The end result surpassed my expectation in both beauty and function and I could not be more grateful. May I also add that I am a very difficult person to please? So, it goes without saying that if they can successfully deal with me, then they can do anything short of magic.

I hired Mitchell Wilk to gut renovate my house. The architects spent a lot of time with me in order to understand the vision I had for my home. Their plans were beautiful and aesthetically exactly what I wanted. They delivered everything on time and on budget. My 1980s Home Depot condo was converted into a beautiful gem. We love our new home!

The team at Mitchell Wilk was professional, talented and a sincere pleasure to work with. My husband and I worked with Doug Wilk on a partial renovation of our 20+ year old home. Doug's ideas were both practical and inspirational. The final design fit in with the existing home but took the updated areas to an elevated level of quality and design.
