Curt Cline of Modern House Architects was the design architect for our Atherton home, now referred to as 'Five Palms'. Unlike many of the wonderful but somewhat more traditional homes in Atherton, my wife and I desired a classic, streamlined mid-century modern aesthetic. We are so fortunate we came upon Curt and his team! After our first meeting we concluded almost immediately that he was OUR Architect. Thoughtful, engaging, disciplined, Curt applies his considerable talents and skills to his craft. His homes are clean, open, light filled and remind me of Neutra best works...only better. Throughout the process, Curt technical prowess was helpful as he was able to rapidly render several prospective full color renditions of our home, altering color palate, materials, etc. These computer renditions had the quality of photographs, making the connection with the envisioned final product very easy. Today, the house looks just like the computer renditions Curt provided to us at the start of our process! In my view, Curt is an emerging, significant talent. He works diligently to create wonderful living spaces, fabulous aesthetics and is always listening to his client...and often 'saved' us from ourselves! I am confident that sometime down the road Curt's houses will be celebrated as modern contributions to what can often be an uninspired space! He is topflight. Recommend without reservation!

I've had the pleasure of collaborating with Curt Cline on several occasions. I am the VP and COO of DZINE, a SF showroom for contemporary Italian furnishings, kitchens, and bath. We have a mid-century modern house that we wanted to remodel. It took quit a few tries to find an architect who "gets it." Curt Cline from Modern House took our mid- century modern and made it current with out loosing the original charm. It's like the way the house should of been built in the beginning. Curt listened to what we wanted and came back with a design that far exceeded our imagination. With the other architects we felt we would have to educate ourselves, design what we wanted and just have them draw up the plans. Curt's been a dream to work with, he worked with us patiently through all are questions and ideas. We worked out all the little details and have a final plan.
