Nash Waters Architecture was a great pick for our home addition/ renovation project. We met with several architects and Nash stood head and shoulders above them all. He was the perfect partner for our project. Over the course of several meeting he showed us several options that would best suite our families' needs. Nash worked with us and helped us realize the potential of our house through different design ideas. He was also very responsive to our questions and emails. Nash was a pleasure to work with and our family is very happy with his services for this project.

It was such a pleasure to work with Nash on the plans for our cottage. My husband and I purchased a lovely 1032-square foot home on 3 acres of land and we wanted to renovate the home to open it up to the gorgeous surroundings, in particular the forest that stretches behind it. As gardeners, it was crucial for us to design a space where you could feel "outside" while "inside" and Nash understood exactly what we meant. He listened to our ideas, many not fully formed, about opening up the space, natural light, and bringing this outside in, and worked with us to create vision that we are so excited to be moving forward with. Further, he was extremely professional, responsive, and just a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had a great experience working with Nash. We worked with Nash to design a 2-story addition to our house and finish part of our attic space, as well as do the interior design work for our master bath and dressing/closet/vanity area. Nash listened to our hopes for the project, brought design ideas to the table, and iterated with us to co-create the right use of space for our family. We also really liked that our weekly meetings were at our house, as this was really convenient for us and allowed us to double check measurements, etc. in real time. Nash delivered architectural variance and permit sets, as well as all the design elements for our master bath. It was so great to think through it all together, and really helped in the bidding process to contractors to have such a detailed and complete set of plans. We are grateful for Nash’s patience, guidance, and support through the whole process. We highly recommend working with Nash!

We hired Nash to design an addition and renovation for our house in central New Jersey. Any architect can draw the plans, but Nash went above and beyond during the entire project. He gave us amazing design options, helped us find a contractor, liaised with the contractor on our behalf from permitting to the final loose ends list, picked materials such as siding and stonework, constantly came up with clever solutions to unanticipated challenges, and he's a super nice guy! We highly recommend Nash, and we'd hire him again without any hesitation if needed.

Nash was amazing!!!! He created drawings for my home which is in a historical area of New Jersey (Glen Ridge). He and my interior designer created magic for my master bedroom suite that will be located in my attic. Nash from day one was on time, fully present, and meticulous. He studied my town's historic rules and regulations and combined Beth’s interior design. Needless to say, it is not an easy feat to get approval from The Historic Preservation Commission of Glen Ridge. Nash got the approval on the first go around. I was impressed by his presentation and his hands-on approach throughout the entire process. I can’t thank him enough for making this so easy.

Nash is a delight to work with. We worked together on a replacement kitchen in our mid-century home. Nash was alway available, always responsive, always with a smile. He worked closely with the custom cabinet makers, delivering stunning workmanship and beauty. Along the way we encountered the usual challenges associated with a structure that has previously been expanded, and Nash came up with out-of-the box solutions. To his credit, ego was never an overhanging issue, and Nash accepted (good) ideas wherever these came from. I highly recommend Nash Waters as an architect.

Nash had an incredible work ethic, an engaging demeanor, and was instrumental in helping us realize our vision - a design that is uniquely set in the historical structure while meeting the needs of our modern, daily life. Nash helped us design a plan to modernize our new home, a traditional split level. As first time home owners and remodelers, we’re really grateful we had the opportunity to work with Nash. Nash helped us develop plans to open up and update the kitchen, loft the ceiling in the main living space, optimize the layout in the master suite to expand the master bath, and create an outdoor deck/patio entertaining space. He took the time to understand our vision for the space and really took our ideas to the next level, and was transparent with the timeline and costs from the start. At each design meeting, he shared multiple options for layouts and materials, which helped us maximize the space for our needs, and created 3D visualizations that helped us see how it would all come together. The design he created is bright, warm, inviting, functional, and beautiful. We highly recommend working with Nash!
