From Day One, Richard and team provided us with the collaborative and well-informed design guidance we were looking for when we decided to demolish our ranch bungalow in south Mississauga and construct a unique custom 2-storey home. Richard was particularly patient with iterating the design 5+ times as we progressed from conceptual design thru construction documents. His knowledge and experience working with the City of Mississauga permit and zoning process was also immensely valuable - it saved us a lot of time, money and angst since he knew what would and wouldn't be permitted. From the date we approached Richard for an initial design meeting thru demolition and construction of our new home, it took 21 months which, compared to many other builds in our area, was very timely. Spending time upfront at the initial design phase is worth every minute. Richard's resulting permit-ready comprehensive plans and solid rapport with the City of Mississauga helped expedite the overall process for us too. I highly recommend Richard's services and, if an opportunity arises, would gladly engage him on design again.

We had the opportunity to use the services of New Age Design for the design and construction of our new home over the past two years. The team at New Age Design, led by Richard with Harris and Ian were second to none. From the first time I talked to Richard about our project, through our initial meeting, and during the months long design process, they were all extremely responsive, knowledgeable, professional, and helpful as they brought our vision to life during the project development. Of the many positive attributes the firm possesses, their willingness to work collaboratively with our input to achieve the result we were looking for was greatly appreciated. The significant attention to every minute detail produced the most comprehensive construction design package I have seen (been in the business over 40 years) which breezed through the permitting process with no comments in eight months (including a variance application), when we were advised by the jurisdiction we would need about 18 months to get a permit. Once under construction, numerous requests by the builder for information were simply answered by just reviewing the drawings that had been expertly produced by the New Age Design team. The many positive compliments being offered to us upon construction completion of both the exterior and interior design of our home reinforce our opinion that the decision to utilize this firm was the correct one.
