Kevin and Channing are not just a fantastic team of architects, they are two great people. The first thing Kevin did when we asked to interview him to build our coastal home was go out to our property and sketch the natural landscape and figure out what inspired him about the property. His design truly grew out of the incredible natural landscape, and it was obvious right away that Kevin and Channing are true artists. Don't let that scare you away though, their attention to detail is impeccable, and their willingness to not only create something that is right for you, but to get to know who you are, and why your project should be right for you as a person. Not only did the guys have a huge challenge of fitting in everything we wanted into a small space, but we gave them a short timeframe (4-6 months) in which to finish, and they haven't disappointed. The design is spectacular, the process has been an absolute pleasure, and there is no doubt that no matter where else in the world we may build a home, we'll absolutely hire Pfirman Architecture again. We've not only gained a fantastic professional relationship, but we're thrilled to have gained two entertaining and genuine friends in the process.

Kevin Pfirman is an extremely talented architect with a great eye for form and function. We enjoyed the back and forth with him as we worked from his intitial programmatic analysis of our wants and desires, room by room and space by space, and then moved on to final plans and drawings. He provided detailed guidance and worked throughout the building process in close cooperation with our builder.

I hired Kevin Pfirman to design my family's home in April of 2014. My wife and I hired Kevin not only for his obvious skill as an architect but aIso for the passion he brings to each project. Our relationship was uniquely complex as I was not only the homeowner, but the general contractor as well. The thing that I like most about Kevin is that he's an artist working as an architect. His knowledge of architecture history is amazing, and he does a great job of incorporating important historical design concepts into each one of his projects. We approached Kevin with the task of creating a house with mid-century modern design elements that met the Passive House building standard. Although he had never designed a house to the Passive House standard, he fully embraced the challenge and immersed himself in all things Passive House in order to get it right. Kevin also has a talent for understanding how each space in a house should flow. He does a nice job of taking what the client wants and maximizing its functionality as well as aesthetic. As a homeowner, I can highly recommend Kevin Pfirman. As a general contractor, I look forward to working with him on future projects.

Kevin Pfirman is clearly an out of the box thinker that will provide you with ideas that will improve your project and enhance the sales & marketing process. Kevin provided our company with planning and drawings for all amenities in a 730 lot residential community including our offsite beach club at Oak Island. His inspiration started with our entry feature and included architectural features throughout the community along with a spectacular club, pool & tennis facility.
