Before we purchased our 1956 home, I asked Liz what was her vision if we bought and renovated. Without hesitation she came up with amazing ideas that I would have never considered. We have been in our newly renovated home for 2 years now and still there is not one thing I would change. She worked with me with every decision that needed to be made, colors, tiles, appliances. If I couldn't decide, I trusted her enough to say "surprise me", knowing I would love it... and I always did. Liz and her crew not only gave me a beautiful home, but also one with great workmanship.

Liz is amazing. We let her run with a general concept, and it never disappoints. When she asks us questions, we all edit it into something amazing. She has great attention to detail, and works well with my OCD personality. She is very patient.

Pick Your Seat does outstanding work. From design, planning and execution the work is creative and professional. We have used Liz on many different projects over the past several years and we give her an "A".

Liz completed a remodel for us a couple of years ago and she was so easy to work with throughout the whole project. Having gone through a few 'decorators', Liz, came onto the scene and her ability to listen, create, guide us with 'out of the box' ideas and her knowledge of stone, woods, cabinetry, design, metals and the use of natural and green products was endless. Her creativity and ideas were perfect for our needs and Liz knows intuitively what the client is hoping for in their quest for a design or new project. We have a few of her special projects that she has built for us and they are unique, natural and beautiful. Working with Liz was easy and she is simply awesome!

Liz took a very dated oak armoire we had stuck in our hallway and transformed it into a lovely china cabinet that is now the focal showpiece in our dining room. She replaced the back that was originally slotted for a TV and carved out the original wood door panels and replaced them with a gorgeous, high end brass wire mesh. She then applied a special paint finish in a rich, navy blue that just pops against our golden bounty walls. We gave her an idea of the colors and look we were going for and she promptly delivered us samples that made it very easy for us to choose from. None of our friends that have seen the new and improved armoire can believe it was the original old piece. Liz is a woman of many talents who has done several other projects for us including a major design and installation of wainscoting, painting and a beautiful built-in entertainment center. You will find her extremely professional, full of great ideas, a dream to work with and eager to deliver you the end result that makes you happy. We look forward to working with her on our upcoming projects.

I can't say enough wonderful things about the professional and excellent workmanship of Liz Clausen. We have used her for various services , numerous times and I am never disappointed but overjoyed! She is an extremely talented woman.

My project involved custom designed raised vegetable beds. Pick your Seat built beautiful, highly efficient and creatively designed beds. They were able to fabricate off site and build in place to minimize impact on my garden. The project was completed ahead of schedule and they stayed right on budget. I love the way the irrigation system is integrated into my beds and also build in metal trellises for the vines.

We have hired Liz as a designer on two remodels now, and we absolutely love her design esthetic. She listens to our ideas, finds ways to tie them all together, and then takes it to the next level. She is also very easy to work with. We highly recommend her!

Liz has the ability to take the mundane and transform it into something wonderful. In addition she followed through and completed the project to my satisfaction.

The project was a dining table refinishing. The end result is beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Liz was able to make our dining table look better than brand new, and the coordination factor with the other wood tones in the kitchen is amazing! She is a real pro and a joy to work with, too.
