About Us

Designing your home whether it is a small addition, whole home renovation or a complete new house is an exciting process. As an architect who specializes in homes, I have had the pleasure of designing my clients’ homes for years and enjoyed sharing the design process with them. Sharing is WHY I really like being be an architect. It isn’t my house but yours! I am a detective figuring out what you like. I believe everyone has a house or even a room they dream about living in but the trick is getting it on paper and getting it built. I really enjoy designing homes where every square foot counts. An efficiently planned home is the first step to being green. How to make a small space feel larger and where to spend the square footage are exciting challenges! Part of the design puzzle is also figuring out exactly how you live so you can build right sized! I also am frugal by nature and work hard to get the best design at the best price. Good design doesn’t need to be expensive, for me it is more about spending the money where you will enjoy it. Every project is unique as are every client’s needs. Everyone thankfully likes different styles, aesthetics even down to very personal color choices! Sorting through stacks of pictures, your Houzz pages, and or Pinterest gives me a feel for how what you want your future spaces to feel. Visiting your existing home that is to be remodeled or the land you will build your new home gives me the sense of the exact location to understand views, lighting, lay of the land and see the potential of your new project. With all the information you provide including a list of your requirements ranging from must have to dreams, pictures of ideal rooms and exterior styles you have gathered, and information about your land or existing house, we work together to design your new addition or home. It is a very interactive design process meeting together or by Skype to review design ideas. Most clients are very engaged in the process and have been thinking about their homes for years! They want to be involved and I welcome it!
