We engaged Rod on a project that started as a remodel and ended up as a rebuild. Throughout the process Rod worked closely with us and our builder to develop the project and make the necessary changes along the way...of which there were many. We couldn't be happier with the end result.

We've worked with Rod on several projects and he is an excellent architect to work with. Rod is always available, accommodating and willing to visit the job if questions arise. His vast knowledge and experience make him a huge asset to work with.

My husband & I purchased a lot in Skaneateles, hired Rod to be our our architect to help us design our "custom" home. We then hired our builder to build our "custom" home (who then decided to purchase the lot adjacent to ours). Rod gave our plan to our builder & his clients- who then duplicated our home right next door! As professionals, this was a big huge fail on both their parts. Money definitely got in the way of integrity, morals & ethics here.

We hired Rod to design our full custom dream home. We have a building lot sitting on a bluff about 30 feet above a lake, with 300 ft of waterfront. Rod came up with the concept of a Craftsman inspired "Rustic Lake House" style, with lots of windows for for our beautiful views, exposed exterior timbers, cottage style windows, stone trim, stainless steel cables for deck railings, and a mix of clapboard and cedar shake shingle siding. We were very active in the design process and he was quite patient with us and supportive as we worked through about 12 plan versions over the course of a year. We are thrilled with the final result! Rod has a great eye for design, yet is very pragmatic, which is an important balance to find in an architect. We would highly recommend Rod for the design of your new home.

Rod provided excellent customer service throughout the project. We added a two story addition to an existing structure. Rod provided the original drawings quickly and worked with us on several design changes initiated by us, 1st timers. He was extremely patient and changes were performed very timely. A great architect to work with.

I am currently working with Rod on a custom home project in the Syracuse NY area. Rod understands construction and what a builder needs to successfully complete a project. His design work was spot on, all of his calculations of exterior roof lines worked out perfectly. Most importantly, the house is beautiful and the customer is extremely happy with his design work.
