SEA Studio Architects did an absolutely stunning job on our renovation. Coming from San Francisco, we wanted to put a West Coast touch on our Rehoboth. Beach renovation, but did not want to stray from the vernacular that makes the Delaware shore such a wonderful place. Scott, Jonathon and the team did a fantastic job bringing our dreams to life, and we could not be more pleased with the results. They exceeded every expectation, and did so despite the fact that we were on opposite coasts and could not meet often. Their emphasis on sustainability compelled us to save and repurpose much of the existing structure, and the result is a nearly passive gem that we look forward to enjoying for years to come.

My husband and I hired Scott to draw plans for an addition to and renovation of our home in Bethany Beach, DE. At the time Scott had been out of school only a few years and our builder recommended him, suggesting we give Scott the opportunity to work with us. We were completely impressed with Scott's professional knowledge, his creativity and his work ethic. Scott listened to how we use our home and how we wanted the addition to function and drew plans accordingly. We are thrilled with the result. We have continued to call on Scott to help with small projects such as decks and walkways and he is always available to consult and comes up with a creative solution every time. When we had a hot tub installed and needed decking around it but didn't want to have railings mar the view. Scott figured out a way to design two levels so as not to need railings and created privacy to boot with the placement of the outdoor shower. Scott is personable, creative and professional. He meets deadlines every time, is extremely knowledgeable about state-of the-art materials and systems, advocates green technology whenever possible and is a joy to work with.

Building from a distance is always stressful, that stress was lessened knowing Scott was here overseeing our dream home. From the first meeting Scott listened to our ideas and dreams and made them into a beautiful home. He understood what was important to us as older folk wanting to build a retirement home that we could remain in as we aged. When it came time to find a builder Scott was with us asking questions and we found the perfect builder for our design. The building process went smoothly and that in a large part was due to Scott. He worked with our HOA in getting all the necessary approvals. If I was to build again I would hire Scott without any hesitation.

We had a wish list of about 20 items we wanted in our home and he was able to get all of them in his design and it was a design we loved from the first time we saw it. He is knowledgeable, listens !!!, very accessible and always has time to discuss the project and any questions you may have. recommended without reservation.
