About Us

Born in Brazil, licensed in MA, with 20 years of experience in residential design, Silvana strives to fulfill her client's dreams. Through an exciting process of choice and study her final goal is to create the perfect home for each client. The guiding force for the exterior massing of new buildings is their relationship to the surroundings, to the sky and to the paths of the sun. Achieving an elegant balance between volumes, and between materials and textures, is her goal. When designing interior spaces, her focus is with the gracious flow between spaces, the amount of light pouring in and the opening to outside views. Silvana's architecture ranges from contextural historic as Victorian, Cottage, Prairie or Farmhouse styles, to elegant Modern with a Classical undertone. Silvana has a team of professionals on board, builders civil engineer and cabinet maker. She also welcomes the opportunity of working with new professionals.

As a Project Manager I have had the pleasure of working with Silvana on many projects over the years. Silvana’s plans are well thought-out and full of the details that keep a project moving forward. She is easy to work and communicate with, and responds quickly and articulately when questions arise. Homeowners often tell us how happy they are with Silvana’s creative and engaging designs. I worked with Silvana on a kitchen addition and renovation on a very unusual home. The original 1780 farmhouse had been owned by artists for 30 years. They turned the old farmhouse into a work of art with surprise and whimsy. The kitchen was in a part of the house salvaged from a nearby college. It was attached to the original farmhouse. Needless to say there were many design challenges to work through. Silvana designed the new kitchen to perfection. She talked with me extensively about what I wanted and my use of the space as well as working with design features already in place. She works with precision, patience, limitless ideas, and a beautiful sense of balance in her designs. She is thorough and completely professional. It was a joy to work with her and the final product is perfect. I would change nothing.
