Excellent experience. I worked with Matthew at SRA to build a modern house in the historic district of Short Hills. After seeing over 50 properties and meeting with various architects in the area, it became apparent that Matthew’s passion for design, attention to detail, and creativity was one-of-a-kind. He oversaw every aspect of a complex project, including getting approvals from the historic commission, designing a unique modern home, and managing the build/construction project. He treated the home project as if it were his own and he advocated for the best materials and lowest cost that he could then pass along to me. Ultimately, the project came in on time and on budget and exceeded my expectations. If you want something unique and special, I highly recommend going with Matthew.

He has great suggestions for recreating space, yet he is a great listener and was able to incorporate our ideas where they made sense, or provided pros and cons based on his extensive experience. He was on top of and oversaw all details when it came to putting a plan together and working with all contractors. He anticipated problems that could arise and prepared us ahead of time. His vision is second to none. Not only are we thrilled with the finished project, everyone who walks into our home is amazed at the transformation.

Matthew of SRA helped renovate and design our entire house in Short Hills. We took a 1960s colonial and added multiple additions, took all walls/ceilings down to the studs and re-did all plumbing and electric. Matthew got involved in every detail from start to finish and ensured all work was being done according to plan. Along the way he also helped us navigate some unforeseen structural and drainage issues which then had to be incorporated into the construction. With Matthew's scrutiny and vision our house turned out even better than expected. We would highly recommend using Matthew and SRA.
