Ken Sims designed our 5,000 sq. ft. prairie style home in 2013. He began the design process by getting to know us and our taste before he drew anything. He was thoughtful and really listened to what we wanted, and also what we didn't want. The attention to detail was amazing, (and at times exhausting), but always worth it! He was available to us and all of the contractors throughout the entire building project. If there was a question or an adjustment necessary he was responsive and creative when the need arose. We've lived in the house for 4 years now and LOVE it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ken to anyone looking for custom home design.

Ken did such a fantastic job on our first home, we have hired him again for another project. Ken was remarkable at taking our thoughts, ideas, wishes and needs and putting them together on paper in the most thoughtfully laid out house on the South Hill of Spokane. His design kept in style with the historic homes in the neighborhood. Unlike so many architects where there fees take up so much of your budget so you can't even begin a project, Ken's pricing is also very attractive.

We've had the pleasure of working with Ken recently to design a custom home. All I can say is that he's an awesome guy! Ken understands the structural, mechanical, and technical aspects of construction inside and out. His drawings are exceptional. (We have received numerous compliments on the plans from contractors.) But he also has an incredible sense of design - from overall concept, to layout and flow, to architectural details, to lighting and interior design. He becomes heavily invested in his projects, and it clearly shows. The quality of his work is far better than many of the high-dollar architects we could never afford. It has been a fun process, we are thrilled with the result, and along the way we made a great friend. What more could we ask for? I would highly recommend Ken to anybody who is looking to build or remodel a house!
