We worked with Scott Krecji to draw up architectural plans for a bathroom remodel project and Kathleen Grim for the interior design component. Because much of this planning was done starting in the summer of 2020 they accomodated us with zoom sessions and on the occasions that we needed to meet in person they were respectful of masking and social distancing protocols. Their ideas were artistic and refreshing and incorporated aspects that made use of our vaulted bathroom ceiling and desire for an "open" concept. Working with Kathleen provided easy access to vendors and helped me narrow down selections that were focused on our overall design scheme. We couldn't be happier with Scott & Kathleen!

They were at the job site constantly, talking with contractors and overseeing the project was not only done right, but in a timely manner. Throughout the entire build, I was given several updates as to work that was completed and upcoming work to be completed. They were at my disposal, through phone, conference calls, email, texts and even in person. Whenever I wanted to talk to them, they made themselves available. They NEVER made me feel like I was a bother to them or a disruption to their work, but rather a part of my project and the process. Throughout this process, I also worked tirelessly with interior designer, Heather Helms. She had the same level of professionalism, knowledge, experience and pleasant demeanor, as Schaub+Srote. She helped me pick EVERYTHING for my new home and balanced perfectly, the fine line of her knowledge with my tastes. I NEVER once felt she was over reaching or thinking all my ideas were horrible. I felt more like we were a team and she loved my ideas and she helped bring everything together! We hired interior designer Heather Helms from Schaub & Srote to help with our kitchen, dining and living room remodel. She is amazing! She thinks outside of the box and transformed our space into something we never could have imagined. She has exquisite taste in design ideas and decorating while being conscious of our budgetary restrictions. She is very resourceful and often presented us with numerous design ideas then allowed us to select our favorite option. Heather is efficient and her communication and availability is second to none. The Architects at Schaub + Srote are brilliant. They have guided us throughout two additions/renovations and one completely new home. The additions/renovations were seamless and looked as though they were always a part of the house. The new build turned out amazing - we had several meetings and gave them size, style, websites to reference and they came back with an almost perfect plan! I say almost perfect only because we did make a few minor changes. They helped us with all the interior finishings and even worked with our interior designer.
