About Us

We are a full service architectural & planning firm. Home upgrades, new residence, site planning, bathroom & kitchen improvements, deck & additions, interiors can be provided. We also provide preliminary feasibility with planning / schematics and cost support as well as code and permitting assistance. Engineering support available as well. We primarily serve Pierce and Kitsap Counties but have provided services in most Puget Sound counties and cities. Steven designed the Gig Harbor Lighthouse in 1989 and received a State Centennial Governor's Award for the project.

We contacted Steven for help with complete remodeling of our 1910 farmhouse. Steven helped us with all aspects of upgrades from heating, insulation, asbestos mitigation, plumbing, electrical and structural upgrades. He assisted us with a new bathroom design, a new kitchen design, and new master bathroom to provide a better layout which added more space in the house. He also helped us with ceiling & trim modifications and a new deck. We love the house as completed and it's very comfortable and so much more efficient. Steven also made many smart suggestions we incorporated such as piping for future remodel in our attic space that will eventually serve as additional living space in the future that will save us money for that future project. We would recommend him highly for any complex remodel project!

Steven helped with a new house in Washington State. I found a lot in the Olympia area and I needed assistance with location on the property, design, site planning as well as permit support. I needed a small house to be used as a second home and he assisted with a super layout before going to working drawings. I was working from my office in California and he handled all the coordination with me through the internet. It was a great experience with him giving me intermittent review opportunities and a final design sent to me electronically. I am going to start construction next year. I highly recommend Steven for any house design project! Richard Boudreau

Steven helped us with a 2100 S.F. home from design to construction. Excellent experience. Our lot was designated for a two-story home; we wanted a rancher for our seniors years with wide halls and few steps. Steven negotiated with the builder to provide a one story within an agreed footprint. We had a very difficult corner lot and he helped maximize the entire property. The layout of the open-space concept is fantastic and we enjoy living in the house. The details included vaulted ceiling, large kitchen, adjacent family room and views to the backyard. He emphasized lighting and some clever lighting for the niches / upper coves we had in the design. He even had great suggestions with infrared heating for the garage and landscaping.
