Studio Jesse James builds off a Vitruvian theory that a designer's service consists in craftsmanship and theory, but that those that focus too much on the theory and ignore the craft, follow a "shadow and not a reality." Believing strongly in the premise that an architect is both a Master Craftsman and a Master Artist, STUDIO JESSE JAMES seeks to create beautiful, thoughful and engaging spaces, and products. From the original design conception that is unique to every client and space, to the final implementation that is often highlighted by intricately fabricated parts. I have worked with Jesse on several projects since 2012 and she has been incredible to say the least. Very knowledgeable in all elements of the job from schematic design all the way through construction to the finish line. I loved that she brought a creative yet financially savvy approach to help us maximize our budget. Also helped us design smarter by having deep understanding of how the city works. Great project manager and stayed on top of all the different consultants, engineers, etc. at all times. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

They are incredibly responsive and they listened closely to what we had to say so that they could choose colors, finishes, and fixtures that were in accordance with our tastes. They worked on our bathrooms, living room, kitchen and bedrooms. They made us feel very comfortable throughout the construction process. We couldn't have been more pleased.

Jesse was instrumental in the architecture and design of our remodel. She is highly professional and knowledgeable. She is very efficient and knows how to get the "job done". From every aspect of the project starting with initial architectural blueprints and CAD files, down to the minutest details of flooring, tile, fixtures, fittings, color schemes and furniture choices Jesse was one of the main leads on our team. She was also able to help negotiate with the contractor and was instrumental in helping us secure a refund after our ceilings weren't able to be a high as initially planned.
