My wife and I have worked with Linder for over a year on two projects, one of which was an Auxiliary Dwelling Unit and another was a major family room remodel. The first project we did not complete for financial reasons and the second was completed recently. Linder has been a joy to work with. Extremely knowledgeable, creative, flexible and easy to work with. Linder came up with creative solutions to numerous problems, helped us find an excellent contractor, and delivered detailed plans in a timely manner. Whenever we called upon him he was very responsive. We would definitely recommend him and we would use him again on a future project.

Studio Linder / Linder Jones has to be one of the most thoughtful architects that I have worked with in my 43 years in business. All the projects have been extremely well thought out. Of course taking into consideration each and every aspect of a persons life and needs. He is the consummate professional and is involved in the field of Architecture as that is his true love and passion. Someone with these kind of attributes is the perfect fit for any client!

We hired Linder to help us redesign and rebuild a large, aging deck. Linder is very easy to work with - he asks a lot of questions, listens well, and is timely and responsive in his communications. He doesn't try to impose a particular aesthetic, but will help steer clients towards high quality (and sometimes pricey) materials and clean lines. We had difficulties working with our contractor, and Linder was always willing to step in and offer extra support to help keep the project moving forward and true to plan. Highly recommend.

I loved working with Linder Jones! He designed a potential kitchen/living room remodel for us. While we have not moved further on the remodel yet, our experience working with Linder was very good, and we both recommend him and would work with him on future projects, no question. He is easy to work with, very experienced, thoughtful, calm, and really listens. I felt he understood what we were looking for, and came back with different designs for the kitchen/living room space that were creative, sensitive to our wants/needs, and gave us a range of options and ideas that we had not considered or been able to think of without him. We entered our remodel project with nothing more than a large list of everything we thought we might like or need. Linder put in the effort to get to know us and turn these possibilities into realities and financial achievability. Sure we, didn’t get everything our imagination dredged up but we ended up with a practical plan that suited our budget and returned a finished result that continues to please us every day. We appreciated Linder’s willingness to work through different phases of the planning process with effective drawings. Working directly with the contractor throughout the construction process, Linder was able to respond quickly whenever the inevitable difficulties translating drawing into physical construction arose. The major project issue was regarding bathroom tile design and material. We were able to resolve this over the phone while traveling out of town because he could clearly describe the situation and we knew that we could trust his judgement.

Linder's designs have proven critically important to the success of both our remodeling projects. Careful attention reflected all of our design needs. His experience and creative prowess introduced new ideas and elements and solved some problems that we couldn't have anticipated. The quality and completeness of the plans ensured that construction went smoothly and certainly saved the projects from costly delays. We're looking forward to our next project with Linder.

Linder designed my kitchen, bath and bedroom remodel. Five extra feet were added to the rear of the house to allow expansion of two small bathrooms and addition of a spacious walk-in closet to the master bedroom. He was a pleasure to work with - he truly listened and designed for my taste, rather than trying to impose his. I especially liked his efficient use of space; leftover space from the two bathrooms and utility closet were turned into a large divided closet with access from the master bath (for linen storage) and hallway.

Linder architected and designed two bathrooms for our 1926 era home. The results are beyond what we expected. From a sad 20's era bathroom and an outdated 70's designed bathroom to two sleek and modern spaces.

Linder Jones is very detailed and very knowledgeable with state and local building codes. He is ahead of the curve with 3D-CAD Drafting in Residential Remodeling.

I have had several experiences with Linder, first over 10 years ago when we did our kitchen, 5 years ago with we did our bath, and recently when we have gone to him for a design for an extension in the back of our house. In all instances he has been thoughtful in his design, and come up with creative and efficient plans to address sometimes complicated settings. I have already referred him to someone who successfully used him to design a 2 story unit behind their house and they were very pleased, have referred him to a neighbor for a kitchen design, and will whole heartedly refer him again.

We hired Linder as the architect when we remodeled our house. The scope of the remodeling consisted of removing one weight bearing wall, construction of a new kitchen, construction of 2 new bathrooms, removal of chimney, and improvement of main entrance. Linder did an excellent job on our project. He is never late on the milestones and his regular meeting kept my husband and I on schedule. He came to every meeting with well-prepared drawings, so my husband and I had good visuals to quickly making decisions. Linder is detail and very thorough. To make sure that he has all the drawing correctly done, he spent times in our attic and crawl space to make measurement and examine the details of our roof and foundation at length. I was impressed that Linder took his time in these two areas to get the job done correctly since attic and crawl space are not the most comfortable locations. Most other architects perfer to minimize these areas. For our kitchen, Linder took time to design the cabinet layouts carefully considering every day usage. The details are so well thought out that we have our cabinet makers make the cabinets exactly as drawn by Linder. It is working really well and we enjoy our kitchen very much. For the entire project, we liked and trusted Linder's plan so much that when we signed the contract with our contractor, we request the contractor to put "build per plan" in the contract. Our remodeled house not only look great, it works great as well. We highly recommend Linder and have already send Linder's name and number to our friends. We definitely will use him again if we have another remodeling project.
