Studio Z, owned by architect Patrick, was a excellent firm to work with. Patrick is knowledgeable and experienced, and he provided the architectural drawings for our restaurant project, Sultan Cuisine, with care and attention to detail. Throughout the process, he was patient, professional, and responsive, taking the time to answer questions and provide guidance when needed. Donelle, his assistant, was also wonderful to work with and very helpful throughout the project. Although the project experienced delays and is still ongoing, our overall experience has been positive. We appreciate their professionalism, effort, and the work they have contributed to our project. Professional & caring is how I would describe the process of working with Studio Z. Their expertise helped us quickly hone in on what was important in designing an addition to our 100 year old home. The final product is a plan that blends seamlessly with the existing architecture while providing space & comfort for how we live today.

Studio Z were excellent to work with. We wanted to put an addition on and extensively renovate of 1950's Cape Cod while staying as true as we could to the architectural style of the home. This posed some challenges, and Patrick and Donelle worked on many iterations of the plans with us. They were timely, and their command of the technology allowed for us to quickly see some changes as we were discussing them. They also made some smart space use recommendations that we did not initially think of. We truly enjoyed working with them and we are so happy with the (near) final product! Patrick is a thoughtful project partner who is focused on making sure the client is heard and understood. I have worked with him directly as a design partner for nearly a decade and he is always one of the first folks who come to mind when someone needs architectural help or recommendations.

As a contractor, I have worked with Patrick on a few projects. Patrick is courteous, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented. The residential and commercial designs and architecture I have used/reviewed are well-thought out, and clearly cover the scope his client's are envisioning. From a usability/"flow" perspective, it is important to use space wisely, and that implemented code-required elements are integral (rather than noticeable)--an important skill in which Patrick excels--while including the design features for an outstanding end-user product.

Studio Z designed the perfect home for us. They worked the floor plan to accommodate our every request, down to the smallest detail. I had a fantastic experience working with Patrick Zampetti and Studio Z. They designed our dream home, including adaptations for solar, geothermal and other energy efficient features. The design perfectly met the unique needs of our family, integrating the home into a large country lot with a pond. Pat was prompt, efficient and knowledgeable. Years ago he designed a 3 season room for our current house, and I couldn't imagine working with anyone else.

We hired Studio Z twice, once to design a garage and once when our house burnt down and we had to rebuild. Both times they did excellent work and made us feel like a customer and not a number. Emails were always answered promptly and phone calls returned. The drawings and renderings were always approved by the inspection office. We will definitely hire them again!

Studio Z has done several projects for me. They designed an addition to my home in 2007, my vacation home on the Piankatank River in Middlesex county (2009), and a new home in Henrico county 2013 . Patrick listens and is responsive to the clients needs. He is available to discuss any design/construction concerns with the builder, landscape architects or any other design professionals involved in a project. Studio Z has my highest recommendation.

Mr. Zampetti was outstanding in his vision for achieving our goals. He equally valued, function, form and my opinion to create a solution for a 1972 ranch home with small/choppy feel and limited curb presence to a wonderful home that functions beautifully for a modern on-the-go family with 2 small children. When budget became a factor with the builders' quotes, he went to the drawing board to help us realize our vision in a less expensive way--guiding and advising us through what changes would have the greatest impact on our lifestyle and help us get through our busy lives with a great importance on our family time. Use him...You won't be disappointed. PS. We still have to add landscaping so I hope to update this with pictures later this Spring.

Patrick is a brilliant architect to have working for you on any potential architecture project. He is very upfront with what to expect from him, as well as, the architecture review board. His communication with us during our design and review stage was excellent. I never had to reach out to him to ask what is going on because he provided updates throughout the entire project.
