Michael Hadley was an excellent architect for our home. He was well aware of the Architectural Guidelines of the development in which we were building and knew the city codes governing the construction. He also knew the city engineering department which would be evaluating the design and was able to expedite approvals as needed to keep to schedules. He listened to our needs and requested our priority list early in our relationship. He collaborated with us on the design and developed alternatives in an efficient and timely manner. Our building footprint made it challenging to fit all of our floor plan requirements into the home especially keeping everything on a single level. He presented creative solutions and was open to making changes during reviews. He was always pleasant and made it an enjoyable process. The design turned out to be an attractive and efficient use of space with a great flow for living and entertainment. Michael worked well with the builder and stayed close to the project throughout the course of construction, making adjustments whenever needed. He found a survey team and participated to ensure that the initial layout matched the plans before the digging started. The architecture budget was tight and although we made several changes during the course of the design and build, he stayed within the original, agreed budget. We highly recommend Michael based on our relationship with him and his performance on our project.

T. Michael Hadley deserves the highest possible rating. He completely understood what we were trying to achieve in our "dream home." In his very first iteration of the design, Michael really nailed the flow and exact look we wanted. He also worked very compatibly as a team member with our builder and interior designer. Michael is definitely NOT a prima donna. Thoroughly professional, hard-working, and responsive, he made our home build experience a true pleasure. When changes were needed, Michael promptly created the necessary drawings. He offered creative suggestions throughout the process. As a result, our home functions even better than we had imagined. In fact, after six years in residence, we love our home more every single day. Michael's design is architecturally interesting and reflects our tastes perfectly. I still cannot comprehend how he took our written wish list of random ideas and a few magazine pictures of details we liked and managed to create a perfect space for our family. T. Michael Hadley is an inspired architect. He listens to his clients and, crucially, he has the vision and experience to fulfill their design dreams.

T. Michael Hadley & Associates designed our custom home in Santa Fe, NM. The architect took our rough idea sketched on a scrap of paper and turned it into a masterpiece! Though he offered many ideas and suggestions, it was clear that the architect wanted this to be OUR home just the was WE wanted it. The process was efficient but with plenty of opportunity for us to be involved. The architect did a great job managing through complicated city regulations and community association rules to create a home with just the look and feel we were seeking. He worked well with the builder and other professionals involved in the construction of our home to solve problems and move the project forward. He was professional, creative, skillful and always a good listener who took time to answer questions, give suggestions, and consider alternatives.
