We had a design done by him years ago, he was overpriced and unreasonable. I would not recommend this guy.

Our finished project came out better than we had anticipated. The Professionalism from TJP Designs and Construction was paramount from start to finish. We went from a completely unfinished space, to a warm and cozy family gathering place. They made every effort to get everything we wanted, starting with the design to the last piece of finished trim. The project could not have come out any better. If you want someone to take you by the hand and walk you though the design phase and all the way to the finished project, do not hesitate in hiring TJP, they did everything we wanted and more.

We hired TJP Designs to help us develop plans for our new Lake front home. We had a rough Idea of what we wanted, and Tom (from TJP Designs) took our rough sketch, and by listening to us, and asking all of the right questions, developed exactly what we wanted, at a very resonable cost! Tom not only listened in his office, but visited the site with me and helped locate were the house should go. Tom, help make the design phase a very enjoyable and rewarding experience for us! Oh by the way, my wife things this is the perfect house!

Our first experience with building went remarkably well due to Tom's excellent attention to details. We were completely satisfied with all aspects of his work and leadership. He had many helpful suggestions and was always available to help us with the many, many questions that came up. With his direction, we were able to stay on budget, too. We love our home and would contact Tom again if looking to build another home.

We really enjoyed the project from TJP Designs and Construction and give our highest recommendation. Tom not only is creative and a perfectionist when designing a plan; he is also very attentive to detail and has a high quality of work when completing the project. We would definitely recommend him for any large or small project and could not be happier with his finished work.

My wife and I got Tom's name from neighbors in Rogers City where we own a cottage that needed renovating. It has always been our desire to retire up north and we needed to do a major "overhaul" to make the cottage into more of a HOME. We met with Tom several times and provided him with our ideas (our wants and dreams) and our "budget", and we started working from there. Tom has an uncanny ability to visualize things that are not even in the normal person's "realm of possibility". We originally thought our only option would be to tear the cottage down and start completely over - but it didn't take Tom long to develop a plan that allows us to keep the majority of the cottage as is - adding on and giving it a facelift to make it all work together. Amazing results! Not only did we get a home better than we dreamed possible, but this allowed us to stay within our budget as well. We are now in the process of putting the plans out for bids, and hopefully we can get started on our "dream home" either late in 2013 or sometime in 2014. We would highly recommend Tom Parker to anyone who has a renovation project, or a new build, as he definitely thinks "outside the box" and can make your home or vacation spot truly something tailored specifically to YOU. He is extremely accessible, willing to listen to any option, and full of great ideas. He stays current with all of the newest "trends" and has completed a lot of spectacular renovations which gave us a chance to see his work first-hand. Can't say enough good things - but Tom's at the top of our list for any work we will do in the future.
