If you think the idea of building a house is stressful, try finding an architect who “gets you” with a flexible schedule and an amazing portfolio. The task in itself was daunting and it felt like we didn’t know where to start. Days and days of disappointing calls to contractors, flaky referrals, (way) less than stellar work portfolios, jam packed calendars with no openings for new projects for 24 months, unreasonable rates, unpleasant energy’s….you name it, those were our options. The dream of building our forever home and the excitement expected to follow, was quickly evaporating. Then….one day while scrolling yet another round of search results, I saw an image of a renovation that grabbed my attention. Call it divine intervention if you must, but, that photo belonged to TKZ Architecture, LLC. A quick input of my info and a Taku called me literally 5 minutes later. 5. Gold star already. His positivity and proactive, yet even keeled manner traveled through the conversation. From the beginning he’s been everything we were hoping to find in this process. His work is beautiful. His energy is always happy and patient and accommodating. His attention to detail and the efficiency of turn around for any and all changes or permits or updates on each and every stage from point A to B has been superb. He is extremely professional while possessing the comfort of a family member or friend. He is always in communication with us and the builders and he has given us a solid foundation (pun intended: see what I did there?) of trust and competency. I have so many pats on the back to give Taku and many more to come. If you want to have memories of what building a home should be….happy…..this dude rocks like no other.

Taku and his team at TKZ Architecture LLC did an exceptional job organizing and planning my home re-design. TKZ is very detail-oriented and organized. Taku is very patient while listening to the concerns of the customer. He has made my home remodel experience more efficient and fun.

Taku was very instrumental in the completion of multiple classrooms. The utilization of his expertise allowed long awaited, unfinished classrooms to be completed. The initial builders were unable to complete the project. Taku was able to facilitate the completion of the classrooms in a timely manner and under budget.
