Philip Trautman, licensed architect, is a graduate from the University of Michigan with a Masters of Architecture and a Bachelors degree in Political Science. As an architect, Philip's philosophy is to understand what the client's objectives are and tailor designs and services specific to the client's needs.

We have used Philip for multiple projects now. He was able to completely transform our nonfunctioning kitchen to our dream kitchen to work with our busy family. We had no hesitation to contact him again when we decided to add a master bathroom, bedroom and an additional bathroom. We really appreciated the multiple layouts he proposed for us and he worked with us to find the perfect fit for our family and budget. Highly recommend.

We used Trautman Design Group to help us plan and execute our kitchen and mudroom remodel. Philip diligently walked us through multiple options before deciding on the layout that would best meet our family's needs. He took into consideration things we wouldn't have but that matter. Because of his thoughtful, and practical, approach to design, we have a beautiful kitchen that is the hub of our house. Because this was a re-model of an older home, unforeseen issues did arise. Philip met each unexpected situation gracefully and found the solutions that were in line with our budget and style. In many instances, he delivered items that we didn't know would make our house function so well despite the seeming set-backs that occur when walls are opened up. My husband and I would both highly recommend Trautman Design Group to help you develop your space into one that reflects, and suits, you and your family.
