My husband and I hired Urbanadd to help us design a basement remodel in our 1908 Craftsman home. Mark & Jim (& the entire team) were friendly, professional, & on-point from the start & we were thrilled with the results. They took the time to meet with us (in the evenings, no less) to go over basic design ideas & a wishlist, & then a few times to review the sketches they had designed. Once we decided on the perfect design fit for our space, Urbanadd made sure we got proper permitting & helped us when we hit a snag & had to appeal a decision. Throughout the project Mark & Jim were available, helping with last-minute changes & decisions as well as ideas on fixtures & final pieces for the space. Our remodel turned out even better than we had ever dreamed of & we know it is because of the brilliance of Mark & Jim's design. We would recommend them to anyone who is remodeling or building a home & will definitely use them for any future projects of our own!

Elizabeth and I hired Urbanadd to design and manage the building of a new home for our family. We were looking to satisfy three major criteria. 1) Create a warm contemporary home with style inside and out. 2) Produce a functional layout with smart features, prominent accents, and durable materials that would reflect and support the way our family lives. 3) Provide the basis for a positive financial return on the project. The view lot is unique and required a smartly designed home that together would achieve their potential. We are so pleased with how the project turned out, Urbanadd’s design and building management fulfilled all aspects of our criteria. Our family worked hard and has invested much, financially and personally. Urbanadd made it a success. Jim and Mark, our architects, were a pleasure to work with during the design and throughout the construction phases. They listened to our needs and visions, then expanded and elevated them.
