We recently moved into our new home that was designed by the VFLA team. After our initial meeting with Chris Aronson and Taylor Meyer, we were confident in their understanding of the neighborhood design requirements. As the lead architect on our project, Chris Aronson did a superb job in listening to our ideas and implementing as well as expanding upon them in ways we had not considered. This outside-of-the box, visionary thinking resulted in a truly one-of-a kind, incredible custom home. Additionally, the VFLA team worked collaboratively with us and our contractor throughout. They were always prompt in responding to any change requests or in providing additional clarifications and guidance during construction. From start to finish VFLA exceeded our expectations and delivered on every level. We are delighted to have worked with such a knowledgeable, talented and visionary architectural firm. We love our home! Our sincerest thanks VFLA!

VFLA worked with us for over two years for the design of our new home. Originally conceived as a remodel, the scope grew (because of us, not them!) to a full tear down and rebuild. We now have everything we have ever wanted in a home! Their architectural and interior design team is easy to work with, making suggestions that added immeasurably to the comfort and beauty of our home. They were our strong advocates during construction, making sure all the other vendors did not cut corners or compromise the design. Using their interior design team was one of the best decisions we made. Having the interior designer working closely with the architect made our project cohesive and artistically consistent. Everyone who has walked into our home has commented on how everything blends seamlessly and no detail was overlooked. As an added bonus, their knowledge of energy efficient design resulted in not only our dream home but our dream home that is nearly net zero in power consumption, costing us less than $200 last year in combined natural gas and electrical costs.

My husband and I have retained VFLA on 2 projects; very different and both extremely challenging. They helped renovate and expand a 50 year old horse barn to include a home for us along with a heard of 13 horses. The next project was the renovation of a 115 year old grain mill and the construction of modern, adjacent building to create a destination food-hub and community gathering spot. That project has received numerous awards for historic renovation. Their team is professional, accomplished and passionate about their work. We highly recommend working with them!

Great team and great collaboration. VFLA designed my house in Fort Collins, reworking a small 1910 property to keep the exterior charm but updating and expanding the interior to reflect my personal style and needs. The VFLA team was creative and collaborative and their attention to detail was critical for me. The end product surpassed my expectations.

VFLA designed a new home for us that is currently under construction. Taylor Meyer and Frank Vaught were able to take our ideas and vision along with substantial constraints of our lot and develop a set of construction plans that we were thrilled with. Taylor Meyer has a sense of proportion and esthetics that amazed us. He is creative and responsive and working with him was truly enjoyable.

We had VFLA design our home in Fort Collins. They started with the basics and wanted to know how we would use each room. They designed it to our life style and worked with us every step of they way. We were very impressed with their professionalism, talent and availability. We highly recommend VFLA.

We have worked with VFLA for the past year in designing a new home. Taylor Meyer brought great ideas to the table and incorporated our own while creating a wonderful combination of both in the final design. Almost everything we envisioned in our home ended up in the final design. We are building from afar, and VFLA was able to accommodate remote and in-person meetings around our busy schedules. Promised deadlines were met and communication was excellent.
