VINCENTSEN BLASI was formed to provide the highest quality architectural and planning services for the firm's clients. The firm is licensed in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, and have active projects in all states. We recognize that one of the best resources we have is our clients' understanding of their own requirements. We develop strong communications with our clients in a one-on-one relationship; each project is headed from inception through construction administration by the same professional to insure continuity. Vincentsen Blasi's goal is to design excellence in the built environment. Buildings affect not only the lives of people who inhabit them, but also the lives of the community at large. As Architects we feel a responsibility to both the client and community; each should be enhanced while fulfilling the needs of the building program.

We are very pleased with Vincentsen-Blasi LLC's job in designing our dream home and helping us all through the way. From the first meeting, Greg not only understood what we were looking for, but also helped us to make some important decisions and trade offs. He accommodated the design until we were fully happy with it. He helped us during the bid process and then mananging key aspects of the construction, including pushing back our builder and contractors when necessary to preserve the quality of he final product. The result? We have a beautiful and unique house that we proudly call home.

The team of Vincentsen/Blasi has created a visionary force that adds even more value to this talented firm. They get to know their client and are one of the few firms that really pay attention to both the interior and exterior details. They are thorough and their attention to detail leads to beautiful projects. They write a "tight spec" translating into a successful, well-managed project that meets their clients vision and expectations. They are a pleasure to work with and I always enjoy the collaboration.

Greg Blasi designed an addition for our home, and subsequently oversaw its construction along with a whole house renovation. Our experience was positive from start to finish, Greg is a true professional with a passion for architecture that is infectious. Most importantly, we were (and still are) happy with the end result - Greg's design updated our home, which dates back to 1880, while respecting its original character in every way. Also worth noting is the fact that we were living overseas throughout the renovation, and relied on Greg to oversee the contractor. Barbara Vincentsen designed an addition for our " ver vanilla" split level. Her vision was remarkable. She has transformed our home. I honestly feel that we were extremely lucky to find an architect who asked us what we wanted, rather than to,d us how it should be. We are grateful for her skills and she is a lovely person as well!

If you appreciate good design you will definitely appreciate Barbara Vincentsen. Barbara listens to her clients and understands how they live and what they want before starting the design process. Her unique ability to blend the old with the new results in projects where it is extremely difficult to determine where an addition begins and ends. As an architect, she is a great designer, but she was also trained as an engineer, which we believe is why she is so focused on the details required to efficiently build her projects. Barbara designed and oversaw a major renovation of our house (which included a kitchen) and later a third floor bathroom and then a basement renovation which involved excavating the floor to increase headroom. Yes, we had issues, but Barbara was always standing next to us during the design and construction process, and all of the projects were a success. I can’t imagine doing another project without Barbara. She’s the Best. Dave & Liz McA

Barbara Vincentsen was a pleasure to work with. We did a whole house renovation and expansion that required us to move out for nearly a year. When we first met with her, the meetings were centered around getting to know us and how we live. She then started asking many detailed questions regarding what our "vision" would be for our project. She then presented us with general plans that we tweaked together. Once we settled on the "bigger picture", we then began the painstaking task of figuring out all the details. She guided us with her professionalism and experience. When it came time to go out to bid, she had specified every detail down to the doorknobs and screws. Most importantly, this level of specification eliminated any "confusion" that might arise regarding what would constitute an "extra charge". We were only 3% over budget on a very sizable project.! This is where Barbara was worth her weight in GOLD! A job well done! I would recommend her with highest possible rating.

Mimi & Hill interiors

Vincentsen Associates are the architects you call when you want to be absolutely sure you are respecting the great bones in your old home. Their attention to the smallest detail and historical understanding of the appropriateness of choices stand them apart. Homes that have had the opportunity to be designed by this team never show themselves: their "additions" are seamless and their "renovations" only redefine the homes' glory. Highly recommend.
