Vogl Architects

We are in the process of renovating our family home in downtown Stuart that dates back to 1922. The Vogel's were one of 3 architects we interviewed. It just seemed like Lance and Christina were the perfect fit to redesign the homestead. We were immediately impressed with their web-site that drew us to make contact with them. We found out later that both Lance and Christina graduated from the prestigious Savanna College of Art and Design. They are a lovely couple to work with. Christina does the computer work while Lance does the magic with his calculations. They came over on a "hot summer day" to take measurements. What they came up with we thought met our needs and desires. The house was completely changed to make it functional as well as keeping the historical value of the home. We could not have come up with these ideas by ourselves. The process is not cheap, but every dollar is well worth it. The Vogel's were able to help us connect to a contractor--GlenMarkHomes--in a very busy time of building in the area. Both the Vogel's and the contractor are in constant contact with each other as well as with us. It has been an enjoyable process. We can't wait for the final product!

We hired Lance to draw up plans for the remodel of our home. He was very easy to communicate with and had some very good ideas for our remodel while considering our lifestyle and budget. He completed our plans including electric and plumbing. He was a pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend him.

We hired Lance about a year ago after interviewing several architects. We had several pictures of fairly different designs that we both prefer and a long wish list that included 3 kids and a highly functional layout. Lance was incredibly patient, a great listener and very responsive. My wife and I hired Lance to help us redesign our existing home. We commend Lance for listening and promptly responding to our ideas and concepts. Perhaps more importantly is his ability and add his design experience into our ideas to come up with a really great set of plans. We found Lance super to work with, detail orientated and quite talented at design plans for our renovation project. Our ideas were incorporated quickly and we are thrilled with what he has produced for us. We are just finishing the final sealed construction drawings and plan to start building in the near future. We lucked upon Lance Vogl from a referral and are we ever glad we did! We hired him on May 2013, and our mission was to remodel one side of our house and add an addition 300 square feet to create a mother-in-law quarters without losing those elements that made our existing waterfront home great. Lance really listened when we spoke of our needs and wants. He’s the highly competent artist who transformed our dreams into a blueprint. That was no small task especially considering he had multiple customers to please and there were 3 of us. Trust me he aced it. Always pleasant and approachable, he guided us every step of the way from concept to design. Whenever we needed him, even if our request went beyond the usual and customary, Lance was always available to us without an additional fee. He answered our questions promptly, provided suggestions when asked and delivered the most amazing spaces. Now strangers walk over and compliment our new construction, our neighbors marvel how the addition complements our existing house. It blends so seamlessly and aesthetically that you’d never even guess it’s an add-on, and yet the design enhances and optimizes what we had before. For us this project was a labor of love since it’s for our mother. So you can imagine how grateful we are that the results exceeded our expectations. We’re lucky to have Lance Vogl as our designer architect. We consider him our friend, partner and design specialist. Would we use him again? Absolutely!!

I am a home owner that had been trying for some time to have a contractor remodel my house. I had several ideas but none of the details it would take to get the job done correctly or what the COST would be. In this process of meeting with several different contractors and going to home shows I was given the name of Lance Vogl. I was told that he provides a service of drawing up preliminary plans for your remodel which shows the contractor exactly what it is you are trying to achieve. I met with Lance and went over what it was I was trying to achieve and recieved two rough layouts to look over within a week. We met several times to discuss questions or concerns I had. Because of this service that Lance provided I was able to get several contractors to quote on my job. It also helped me understand roughly what it would cost to complete. Because of the cost of my original remodel ideas I have worked with Lance to break it up into phases and am almost complete with phase one of my remodel. I could not be happier with the services Lance has provided. My contractor has had sever questions for Lance and he has always been avaibale to provide direction. I would highly recommend Lance to anyone that is looking to remodel their home.

I have done a lot of Design-Build projects with many architects over the years and recently have had several opportunities to work with Lance Vogl Architects AIA. Whether we are creating a new home or remodeling an existing space, Lance always clicks really well with clients, has a great design eye, understands the construction process and is a lot of fun to work with. I look forward to working on more projects with Lance in the future!

We wanted to build our dream house and he did it. The layout plans of the house were exceptional. All the deadlines and budgets were met. The fact that he was in contact all the time with the builder, it was a plus and made a difference. All our wishes and suggestions were timely implemented. Having a very positive attitude and a great personality, was a pleasure to work with him. With an up-to-date and tremendous knowledge and experience, he combined Frank Lloyd Wright style with his own and our suggestions. We wanted a computer/study room, and his design and implementation made a difference.

Lance Vogl far exceeded my expectations. His communication, knowledge, and professionalism is outstanding. As a state certified builder, I would not only recommend Lance to those in the industry but to family and friends. Building a home can be overwhelming but my experience with Lance is that he made the process exciting and enjoyable because he is great at what he does. I will be using him again.
