WJa transformed a house that was in total disrepair into a functional beautiful mid-century modern showpiece which we enjoy every day. "The process" This team accommodates as much or as little involvement as you would like. They are very happy to handle every aspect of the construction process for you. My husband and I have a bit of a controlling nature. The WJa team accommodated our approach. Walter sets process milestones, expectations, and timelines and meets or exceeds them. The team works collaboratively and represents your best interests with all the professionals involved in the process. "The design" The WJa team actively listens to how you want to live in your home; the function, the atmosphere, the style. They will make recommendations to accentuate very interesting details that you most likely would not have considered independently. Three examples: 1) We installed two stationary windows above our kitchen wall ovens to take advantage of the view of a lighthouse which we would not have realized were there peaking up over the neighbors roofline had we not been collaborating with Walter in the space prior to finalizing the design. 2) Walter suggested an interesting barn door feature to enable an open concept bedroom and living room suite that made possible a double picture window view of the ocean from every angle 3) Walter recommended an odd angle to a walkway running along our double height ceiling to draw attention to the light fixture designed for the space. These design/architectural tweaks enhanced the space organically. My exceptional GC, Jack Picariello, brought Team WJa designs to life perfectly. Walter and team were available to Jack's workers to answer questions and work through any issues that arose with the very complex renovation we had. Team WJa are strong, respectful, and accommodating professionals. They are available and responsive. The team members have a diverse set of skill and call upon the appropriate expert whenever the need calls for their unique perspectives. I would use them on my next project and recommend them to my friends.
