We had a second home total renovation job to to in Steamboat Springs, CO. The house was three stories with approximately 2700 sq. ft. After interviewing 3 companies we hired Katie Kiefer from West Elevation Architects. It was clear to us right away that she was the one for us. She handled the job from blueprints to design and installation. She was easy to get along with, extremely knowledgeable, fun, and very creative. We were able to convey to her what we wanted and she executed it. As this was a long distance job and we lived out of state it was important to us to have someone we could trust to oversee the job, pay the contractors, manage the timeline and budget, and she did it all wonderfully. There were many times we just said do what you think is best. She was respectful of our budget and if there was something she suggested that we did not like she was completely amenable to finding a different solution. We now have a beautiful home that we love going to. We highly recommend Katie Kiefer.

When we moved to Steamboat we decided that we would interview several architects for our home project. That was until we met Katie. We knew we had found our architect! West Elevation did an outstanding job for us! We enjoyed every step of the planning and construction of our home. Katie had fresh ideas on design, materials, and finishes. Loved working with Katie Kiefer of West Elevation. She was open to what we wanted, our style and our budget. We did a complete remodel of an older home, including outdoor components, She is very knowledgeable of products from mechanical to decorative. Katie Kiefer was the architect and interior designer for our Steamboat home, which was completed (on time and on budget) in 2000 and directed the renovation and interior design of our Manhattan Beach home in 2008. She has also helped us on an ongoing basis with furniture choices, art selection, landscaping and a variety of other projects. In every case, her work has been professional, inspired, cost-effective and beautiful. My wife and I will never do a project without her guidance and leadership.
