West Workshop is an architecture and interior design studio based in Northern Virginia. Our project types include private residences and additions, kitchen remodels and custom furniture projects. Kurt West (RA, NCARB) - Born into a military family, Kurt grew up throughout the U.S and Europe though considers himself equally Texan as he is a Hoosier. He received a Bachelors in Architecture from Ball State University and graduated Cum Laude with a Masters in Architecture from the University of Virginia. Prior to launching West Workshop, Kurt apprenticed at Morphosis Architects in Los Angeles in addition to stops in Chicago, Indianapolis and Washington, DC. Kurt is married with two children, an avid baseball fan, and is licensed to practice architecture in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
