About Us

Workingdesign is the small collaborative practice which has recently relocated from Bloomington, Indiana to South Egremont, Massachusetts. Principals Robert Fakelmann, AIA and Alexis Wreden offer architectural and landscape design services which focus on eco-friendly small-scale design projects. Whether designing a garden gate, a set of book shelves, or a residential addition and garden, we believe that no project is too small and that every client is special and equally important. We think of ourselves as a design assistance firm and personalize our expertise to suit our clients’ needs. Our services range from on-site design consultation and advice through comprehensive residential and landscape planning to include the production of construction documents and specifications.
